Title: Luton Festival, 150 PLH Result, Monday/Tuesday
Post by: tikay on April 13, 2005, 12:02:32 AM
The blue square.com sponsored Luton Spring Festival opener was won by the in-form Stuart Nash, who got 2nd at The Vic a fortnight ago & this consolidates his William Hill European Rankings lead, as I believe he gets another 600 points for this. Stuart busted yours truly 4 tables out, my flopped set against his flush draw, in a 40k pot. Grr......

Stuart collected 12,000+ tonight.

Runner-up was Simon Nowab (6,150) - nice one Simon! Simon keeps going close, & is a smashing fella, especially for a Lancashire lad. I could not be happier for him.

And William Hill's Xuyen Bad Girl Pham put up a remarkable performance to finish 6th. She is a player rather than a grinder, but she was low-stacked all night, & just had to sit & wait, which is not her game at all, but she outlasted many deeper stacks & got there in the end. Well done Xuyen!
