That's SOME line-up!

So we will be giving it the ususal blonde Live Update treatment, do please try & join us, & support our fellow blondeites.

We also will be having a new Co-Updater helping out, on a sort of trial basis, to see if we are compatible - Maria Demitriou, aka Chilli Pepper. Maria would like to try her hand at Updating, we badly need an extra body, so we will give it a go. This being blonde, I know you'll test her, & tease her, but you won't give her a hard time. She is as nervous as a kitten, poor lass.

Why do we need a third Updater? Well, it looks like we will be dloing a lot more Live Updates than we originally envisiged, everyone seem to enjoy them, but the calender is getting more & more busy. In November alone, resources permiitting (that means money and personnel) we are hoping to bring you the Main Events from the  Master Classics from Amsterdam, Blackpool, The Monte Carlo Millions, & the Caribbean Poker Classic, from St Kitts. That's more than Jen & me can manage, indeed if Jen progresses in the Unusual Suspects jobbie - & we gotta hope she does - then I will be flying solo for some of these, so it's time to recruit.

See you Monday evening, I hope, let's get behind your buds & lets see one of them make it all the way to the €10,000 Monte Carlo EPT in March.

Good luck with the updating Chilli but i'm sure you will do a perfect job of it, I will be glued to this update all the way as I can't come to this event (much to my disappointment) to support James in person.

I think I'm more nervous than he is!!!

I was tired last night, well, in the early hours of the morning when I saw this 'new updater' post

I replied with a little quip and my congratulations, the only problem is, I forgot to actualy add the congratulations bit
(like I said, I was tired)

So well done Chili, It's great to have you, (so I'm told), you're good under pressure, you've already proved that, I'm sure you will do a fantastic job

Well it's only a trial run. She is interested in doing the job, & we need Updaters, so  it's just an opportunity to see if the glove fits from, as it were, both sides of the equation. She is Poker Nuts, truly, & wants to make her way in life via poker if she can. She seems to be able to handle herself well on here, she gives as good as she gets, seems to write with a bit of style, & we do need someone that can deal with the banter in the right spirit. Also, she is her "own man", so to speak, as is Jen. I soon found with Jen that the best way to work with her was to leave her to get on with it, she performs better that way. And our next Updater needs that ability too. But tonight is just an "ice-breaker", I know she is very nervous about even trying it.

We shall see.

Chili, you will be fine - get some lucozade in (or red bull!), wear some dead comfy shoes (difficult in a casino dress code sometimes), and be methodical - that's the best advice I can give :)

At least your updates will just be in the one building <gg>

Well tonight is one table, one room, so relatively speaking, easy-peasy.. Poor Heid had 2 buildings, 2 floors, & 145 players, in stifling hot & humid conditions. A real baptism of fire, that one.

It was a fun night though :) It's a good laugh, and that's the most important thing :)
