The very first hand Ladbrokes sponsored player Jeff Kimber limped in with 8h 9h. His opponent, Alex Anderzen checked with 4s 8s. The Flop came Ts 5c 6d check check The Turn was 7s giving Jeff top straight and Alex 2nd nut straight & flush draw. Jeff raised, Alex reraised & Jeff moved all in. A call from Alex and a blank on the river - they didnt even have to count the chips. Congrats to Jeff. More to follow. Mickey Wernick called an all in raise of 9900 pre flop with 9s 9h & his opponent Ben Battle turned over 6h 7s. The 9's stood up & Mickey is through! Steven Pearce beat Russian Nikolay Losev who moved all in with Aspades 4s & Steve called with Th Td. Other winners so far: Simon Nowab, Sabastian Palmer Tocino Brian Johnson was down to 6500 chips, he just moved all in on a board of Qc 5c 4d 2s . His opponant had 2c 4c & Brian had Qh 6h. the river was 3h giving Brian a straight. More to come - I have to play the Pot Limit Holdem now! |
