Title: Who will get the City job?
Post by: Indestructable on May 25, 2007, 05:20:35 PM
Ranieri is the current favourite.
Lyon coach Gerard Houllier has today quit the six-time French champions.
Sky Sports says that Sven would consider the City job

I just wish this would be sorted asap. But who do you think will get it?
 :dontask:

Unfortunately, I think you'll get Houllier.

Although saying that, he got Liverpool to a certain level before he could do no more.  He might be good for Citeh?

please take Strachan!!

His brand of Dire "anti-football" is just what is required in the relegation dogfight City will no doubt be in next season.

Iron, from the outside looking in hes done a great job but winning the SPL by 12 points isn't an achievement.
In his first season I think he did very well following on from MON & lifting 2 trophys but this season the standard of football has been atrocious, today being a good example.

He thinks guys like Pressley/Hartley/Caldwell/Miller are good players when they are plainly not.

I realise that for non Celtic supporters they will find this hard to understand but for the guys who actually pay good money to watch this dross week in week out he better hit the ground running or he'll be hunted by Christmas.

He keeps saying he knows the areas that we are not performing but then he goes & signs Pressley & Hartley & plays them every week!!!

Credit where its due, he got us through the group stages of the Champions League but he always gave the impression that was as far as we could go when a wee bit more self belief could have got us past Milan.
