Title: Play Off Opinions Post by: GlasgowBandit on May 28, 2007, 12:00:37 PM I really hope big Mogga can do it and take West Brom up, i think the big man is a top class manager and a top geezer.
Plus I hate that little rat Billy Davies. Title: Re: Play Off Opinions Post by: scotty2hatty on May 28, 2007, 12:47:50 PM Fingers crossed for WBA. Had a £25 treble on Bristol Rovers, Blackpool and WBA!
I think they will be too good for Derby. West Brom 3 Derby 1 is my prediction. Title: Re: Play Off Opinions Post by: Indestructable on May 28, 2007, 12:48:48 PM I have backed West Brom as well, fingers crossed.
Title: Re: Play Off Opinions Post by: TightEnd on May 28, 2007, 12:53:16 PM Please West Brom....don't like Derby (local rivals). I think there will be goals...

Title: Re: Play Off Opinions Post by: Pelham Boy on May 28, 2007, 08:10:49 PM Being a Leicester fan i have a passionate dislike for Derby County, but watching the game i somehow found myself wanting them to win!
All season West Brom and their supporters have had an attitude of having a divine right to go up. Maybe its this attitude that has been their downfall, because without a doubt they have a talented squad. Take Koumas for example,a very gifted footballer, but also one of the laziest players i have seen.Where was he after Derby scored? He hardly touched the ball in the last 30 minutes. IMO today was reward for a club that have been through hard times but have brought youngsters up through the ranks and done things the right way. Under Davies I give them a decent chance of staying up,it wont be pretty to watch but they are well organised. Title: Re: Play Off Opinions Post by: jakally on May 28, 2007, 08:47:07 PM Just got back from Wembley and got a broad smile on my big, ugly face. Been fed up to the back teeth over the last week with Baggies fans assuming that it was a done deal. To be fair they played the better football, but we defended better than we have of late, and kept down their chances to a minimum. Wembley Stadium is a huge improvement on the old model, and, despite a few moans I've heard since, the atmosphere was excellent from where I was sat. There are a few things for them to work on - over 12,000 empty seats for a start, and poor organisation dealing with the rush for hot drinks and burgers at half time. Nevertheless, top day, and a lot to look forward to next year. Title: Re: Play Off Opinions Post by: scotty2hatty on May 28, 2007, 08:58:58 PM well there will be a few derby matches in the preimiership next year then very good ironside. pretty gutted by the result. Title: Re: Play Off Opinions Post by: pokerram on May 28, 2007, 11:14:44 PM Never thought id see the day.A manager with as much desire and ambition as the great one (Brian Clough ).Big clubs will knock us but they cant say we are not diehards. A true footballing city. Well Done Billy and the boys. cheers RAm
