I'm new to the forum here but have met a few of you guys at the APAT Newcastle event (I'm the Canadian guy if you can remember back that far). I've posted this in the APAT forum but I'll try here as well. I'll be in Dublin early Friday and was just wondering if there are plans to meet at a pub and/or play some poker. RioRodent posted a few possible tourneys on the APAT forum: The Fitzwilliam 8.30pm €50 + €5 NLHE (Scalps) 1 Re-buy in first hour or 1 top up *Scalps: Players receive a bounty for every opponent that they knock out of the tournament. The Jackpot, 20 Montague St, Dublin 2 9.00pm €50 + €5 NLHE F/out Deepstack Sporting Emporium, Anne's Lane, Dublin 2 8.30pm €25 + €5 NLHE 3 x Rebuys or 2 x Rebuys + 1 x Top-up I was thinking maybe hitting a pub for a few and then head to one of these tourneys. (being from Edinburgh we don't have that problem) On another note, a bit of a fastball, my youngest is now travelling with me to celebrate recently turning eighteen. Anyone looking for a roomshare for Sat night. Trying to avoid paying for a whole room for him if can be avoided. He is house trained. Geo. We played at the same table for the whole first day until we both got knocked out after dinner break ;D And thanks for the welcomes, hopefully I'll be able to contribute to the forum.......well at least one more buyin to forum tourneys. ;flushy; As for Friday night, I'm a bit torn between the Fitz Rebuy/Scalp tourney and the Jackpot Deepstack tourney. Seriously, i thought just having a 2 and a half hour delay last week for a 55 min flight to Dublin from Luton was quite good! Wonder how long its delayed this week, leaving in 4 hours for the airport! No Sleep me thinks! Birmingham & East Mids Airports are the nuts. And I had 4 goes on the Monorail at Birmingham Airporrt, well sexy. No drivers, you know.
