beat me to it. Absolutely shocking value on their WSOP winners market - anybody fancy taking 200/1 Jimmy White in a 7000 runner event??? If you do, let me know and I'll give you 300/1!!!

Hehe, you WERE quick off the mark there Jonathan! And don't drop your prices - they are not trophies you know......

Now, behave yourselves the pair of you. Put up your odds on blonde please, & let the punters decide if the value is there. Else Ironside will Yellow Card the pair of you.....

actually, I've just noticed that they've corrected the title of the odds (or been embarrassed into better value by me  :P ) They're the prices to make the final table http://www.bluesq.com/bet?action=go_events&type_id=921

Ironside deserves a yellow card for quoting a massive post and not even refering to it!

out of interest what hand did you put him on here and would you have folded it without the 9 in your hand?

Title: Re: Luton Main event odds
Post by: Milkybarkid on April 14, 2005, 05:49:01 PM
Against some players i would have folded but he was playing like a complete maniac and when he reraised me i immedietly thought he had the Ace flush draw. Of course the 9 made me more certain that he didn't have 99 but i wouldn't have passed even without the 9 in my hand.

yes there was origainlly a third part to my question, did you crap yourself when the Qc came?

Title: Re: Luton Main event odds
Post by: ontilt on April 14, 2005, 06:00:49 PM
The reason I asked, is that I'd be quite wary to play a hand like yours with a small pair in it, because of the difficult kind of decision your likely to have if you hit the small set and not much else .  guess in this case you had a good idea what this guy would do anyway.

Title: Re: Luton Main event odds
Post by: Milkybarkid on April 14, 2005, 06:24:13 PM
Luckily on Betfair i got to see his cards immedietly on the flop and i realised he was drawing practically dead so i was very relieved

I had a similar set over set experience last week in an even bigger pot and the player hit a back door flush after going all in with bottom trips when i had AAA :-(

I think you were lucky to find a worse player than you in the pot.  LOL
