Title: Races other than the derby tommorow Post by: boldie on June 01, 2007, 08:00:31 PM I have a sneaky suspicion that Commando Scott will run well in the 5.40. He'll love the ground and he won nicely at Newmarket last time out...should be around the 10/12-1 mark.
Other races are desperately difficult at Epsom tommorow and I've only quickly browsed the other races where isee very little of value Title: Re: Races other than the derby tommorow Post by: Pelham Boy on June 02, 2007, 08:13:26 AM 2.0 Zaham
2.30 Mister Hardy 3.30 Green Manalishi Title: Re: Races other than the derby tommorow Post by: boldie on June 02, 2007, 11:38:14 AM I'm also going to have a tiny bet on declaration of war in the 2.30
edit* and for those of you tempted...the mrs just decided to go for Mount pleasure in the same race...and she ussually jinxes my bets Title: Re: Races other than the derby tommorow Post by: Muahahahaha on June 02, 2007, 01:02:06 PM Hate to say it to any serious gamblers out there, but all my money is based on Green Manalishi.
Either in a straight win, with some on the double with Authorised. I'm just a Derby day pinsticker, but Authorised just isn't worth it, so ... That's basically two races I've put the mockers on ;pokergods; Title: Re: Races other than the derby tommorow Post by: GlasgowBandit on June 02, 2007, 01:45:55 PM Well here I go just about to jinx every race and every horse I fancy.
Traditional bets for me on a Saturday are 3 x 40p e/w Lucky 15's at 3 meetings and a £1 lucky 15 on 4 short priced horses that should hopefully go in and make me a small profit overall on the day. I cant see Authorised getting beat and have bet a £150 at EVS. I also has a £100 at 7/4 after it won the Dante. So I really need that wee mug Dettori to finaly break his Derby jinx. £1 Lucky 15 How She Cuttin 2:20 Mussel Quarry Master 3:55 Mussel Bakhoor 3:05 Folkestone Trimlestown 2:35 Folkestone 40p e/w Lucky 15's Line 1 Line 2 Line 3 Time/Meet Bergonzi Tocata Zaham 2:00 Epsom Beespoke Boy Irish Jig Declaration of War 2:30 Epsom Machinist Fire up the band Loch Verdi 3:00 Epsom Yellowstone Mahler Eagle Mountain 4:20 Epsom Not normally something I do is go for the 2 or 3 picks in each race so trying this out for the first time. Title: Re: Races other than the derby tommorow Post by: boldie on June 02, 2007, 02:39:59 PM Well done on the first 2 in line3 bandit...I REALLY fancy Loch Verdi..Racing post talked me out of it a bit (saying it's draw is no good) but i had another look at the draw bais and I reckon nit's on the right side. 11-1 good price.
delighted with declaration of war winning...shows the mrs up at 9-2 :) Title: Re: Races other than the derby tommorow Post by: Graham C on June 02, 2007, 02:45:37 PM Is Epsom on normal tele? I can only see it on Racing UK

I can only see it on Racing UK bbc my friend Title: Re: Races other than the derby tommorow Post by: GlasgowBandit on June 02, 2007, 03:16:30 PM I talked myself out of Declaration of War when it started to drift and bet Bespoke Boy instead for £60 when it seen a wee bit of support I was on at 15/2 and happy when it went off at 6's but Dettori is a prat! I also backed him on Blue Ksar, he is a little Sh!te bag and bottled it. If Authorised gets into a battle Dettori will be to blame if it gets beat he has no bottle.

Title: Re: Races other than the derby tommorow Post by: GlasgowBandit on June 02, 2007, 04:43:49 PM I had a look at this race earlier in the day and the only thing that puts me off is the jockey. I am not a fan of Darley at all.
Title: Re: Races other than the derby tommorow Post by: boldie on June 02, 2007, 04:53:38 PM WOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH SHIP IT TO THE AUTHORIZED what a race...what a horse!..I am soo happy for Frankie.couldn't have happened to a nicer guy or a nicer trainer for that matter. Stop stuff...I almost had tears in my eyes....but didn't really cus I'ma hard man! :) Title: Re: Races other than the derby tommorow Post by: GlasgowBandit on June 02, 2007, 05:58:34 PM I had a look at this race earlier in the day and the only thing that puts me off is the jockey. I am not a fan of Darley at all. Another thing I find quite interesting about this one is that Luca Cumani has 2 runners at Wolverhampton tonight and both look beatable, if the stable jockey has first pick why hasn't he headed north to ride up there? I find this quite strange anyone got any thoughts. I find this quite strange anyone got any thoughts. yes I had a look at the same race. I don't like the form of it's first race for one. the winner did absolutely nothing for the form and the race was run in a very slow time. Secondly..it's only 5-2 which is too short for me to back it There has been good money for it today though Thirdly there are horses in there with better form. Crispian springs to mind here. shame commandment isn't running as he would have won this. Campli could also be considered and is a better price. The only thing it has going for it is that the trip should suit and that there has been decent money for it...it's not for me though but GL to everyone who's on. Am disgusted I never had a penny on it! Title: Re: Races other than the derby tommorow Post by: seven2unsuited on June 02, 2007, 07:47:01 PM have to admit he did say it.
The Bandit says: Campli could be the best bet but for a sheer value punt I'll take the rebel in the field Bogside Theatre SHOULD HAVE PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS! Title: Re: Races other than the derby tommorow Post by: seven2unsuited on June 02, 2007, 07:52:39 PM While we are on the subject of losing money, mine will be being lost on hollywood George in Wolv 8.10 no doubt

It gets better I just picked the 5/1 winner in the last race there at Wolverhampton, how come I can't get these winners when punting? Its rigged. Worse than online poker. I swear. Title: Re: Races other than the derby tommorow Post by: GlasgowBandit on June 02, 2007, 08:25:56 PM Aha came up with an idea to end this winning spell. I'll name the horse on here its due to get gubbed after that.
