I think it is terrible.  It does not represent London at all.  I would prefer something with a London landmark contained in the image. Big Ben or the Houses of Parliament, etc.

Nonsense.   It would have been better if they had held a national competition between all the UK's Schools.  The best design drawn by one of the Schools would become the winner and used.   

This is almost as stupid as the ten million pound skull art piece earlier in the week.  I guess some people are fooled by this crap

I would be too scared incase I lost them.   One of the things I love is wrist watches, but if I ever get a Rolex, I would probably just look at it rather than wear the thing just incase I lost it or damaged it

This S H I T logo was on a register article, as was the showing it the door one, but that came from the BBC artticle below.

One thing which a lot of people seem to have missed (which was a big priority in the logo brief) was that it had to work as a logo without either the Olympic rings, or the phrase 'London 2012'. Olympic rules state that commercial sponsors cannot use either of these things, so the logo had to be just as recognisible without the rings or the word London. Hardly any of the alternative logos fulfil this.

Number 7 is good.

But the logo does have London on it, the olympic rings, and the logo itself it meant to say 20 12. So if you take those away you have a blank piece of paper. Either that wasn't a brief for the logo, or they forgot about it  ;whistle;

Just thought of something, maybe this one is a hoax.

But you can take the rings and London out and not lose anything - 2012 on its own is fine (as that's just a number).

So you can still have the 2012 shape - which is the only thing anyone remembers.
