Title: these poker sites
Post by: Graham C on October 11, 2005, 04:09:53 PM
betfair and WH in particular, the software is the same looking, is it actually the same games on the sites?  I mean, am I playing people with WH accounts on Betfair and visa versa?

Bad explaining there but do you know what I mean?

It's the same network Silo so, yes, it's the same games. Sometimes the rooms run special tournaments which can only be accessed via their poker rooms but on the cash tables it's the same players.

It is the same (Crypto) software

If you play on Hills, you can be playing alongside Betfair players, and Intertops etc

You see a Hills logo, they see a Betfair logo etc

that's it

Just to add a further complication, betfair have announced that they are looking to leave the Crypto network

cheers, having only downloaded 1 software before, I didnt know that. I assumed BF had 5000 players on and the others their own players on too!

Is the Crypto network considered a good one to be on or should I look to be playing elsewhere do you think?

Good games, good players to play against, good look to the software, horrific network stability. IMO.

Isn't Intertops a Partpoker skin.

whichever one!

problems with the network are the main problem with Crypto, this lies behind Betfair's decision to leave

I have heard that Betfair are leaving, when and where are they going? Will they use their own software? will they join another network?

they haven't said when and to where

the industry rumour would be that they would buy a site on another network or that owned it's own network

Whether this is ture or not, no idea

what are the problems with the network - i have never encountered a problem with Will Hill

The one site i have had problems in the past with are Victor Chandler - used to always crash on me mid tourney.  However, have had a complete wipe down of my computer since and it now works perfectly
