Title: Playing online while in the US Post by: doubleup on June 08, 2007, 08:18:48 PM Just looked in on crypto to see someone who finished in the money in the £2k WSOP event apparently playing plo (ok could be someone using his account). I also remember being able to play on Ladbrokes, but not access cashier when I was last in LV (but that was before the UIGEA). Anyway the point is, does anyone know what sites actively block us ip addresses? ps - I know that this probably sits better in the internet forum, but thought that it might benefit from a wider audience. Theres ways around it anyway. There are even plenty sites out there now that will hide your ip or show you as somewhere else in the world (although would you be breaking the law if you used one of these sites in vegas?)

The sites that have banned US-based players all check your IP address to check that you are outside the US. The best amd easiest way around this is with a VPN solution. If anyone wants more info then PM me. |
