oki..doesn't really matter anyways..a combination of playing like a donk (not betting when I should giving the other guy a chance to push and me having to fold..knowing he probably has F all) and not winning a single race (including hands not holding up QQ/KK etc means I'm out and well and truly pissed off.

Jaffacake was going strongly when I left..hope he gets a seat for blonde.

Its a nightmare situation to get KK only for the A to hit on the flop.  I wouldn't have done anything different to you Boldie.

There's pros and cons to leading out.

The pros would be that it costs your opponent a lot more to bluff you off it as he has to consider your pre-flop raise could have been made with AK, AQ, AJ etc.... In this instance he risked 600 chips to take the pot off you (if he was bluffing) but if you had checked it would only have cost him 200-300 to take the pot with a bet.

It's a hard one for him to bluff at when you think about it. A pre flop raiser leads out when an Ace hits. There's a good chance he is holding an ace.

I suppose it's all down to position as usual. The guy in positon takes it down again

his raise looks a bit on the small side for me, but that could mean that he is trying to draw you in. But it just doesnt shout to me that he is very comfortable with his hand.

Long term however, I am of the opinion that reraising here is more +EV than folding. The problem though, is if this tournament is bigger than your normal buyin, that will skew your thinking greatly.

yeah..after being at the table with this guy for a while and seeing how Jaffacake played against him I wish I'd reraised him again here as the guy was more than capable of putting in a bluff (in fact he did it A LOT)...and the 650 buyin did put me out of my comfortzone a touch but nothing too much..(thank God or there would be no hope for me as I satted my way in)..I simply didn't play well that day especially that tourney otherwise I would have finished a lot higher always this weekend though :)

Lead out, if you get grief, pass. If he's tricky i like checkraise more.
