Title: Re: Whats your move? Post by: boldie on June 10, 2007, 11:11:55 AM you played this like I played my WSOP sat yesterday, in other words very poorly.
A min raise from UTG? that's just wrong. Either limp or raise to 400 don't piss about with raises that don't mean anything. I can understand the check on the flop, see what others do first. But then when they fire in a very small bet you have to raise them and see what's actually going on in the hand. Raise to 800-1000 and see who's still in, then you can reasses on the turn. Right now?...might aswell fold it here..there isn't a card in the pack that can actually help you (other than a ten) if anything other than a ten comes down you will still think you're behind. Title: Re: Whats your move? Post by: tantrum on June 10, 2007, 12:50:27 PM The first one, min raise on the flop - I would re-raise there.
Second one, not sure but this guy seems to me he is a bit passive and usually when those min bettors and flat callers re-raise he might hit a set/two pair or something. Of course he can have a KQ and think that's this hand is good there. Whether you call his re-raise or fold it is really up to you and your read on him. Title: Re: Whats your move? Post by: UpTheMariners on June 10, 2007, 02:04:34 PM for the aj hand you have'nt found out were you are at any point? by cold calling you have no information therefore you must fold on the turn. either bet or check raise the flop. an utg+1 raise is also normally fairly strong so you've gotta give him credit for a decent hand.
Title: Re: Whats your move? Post by: tantrum on June 10, 2007, 02:10:48 PM 2nd hand , not big suprise, those passive players bet usually when hit big... keep the notes you will have his/her money
