I'm thinking of a top 5 spot for Harrington.  He tends to do well in tough conditions.  Not sure what else to have a look at, I haven't really been following the golf this year.

Havet seen the prices yet but im going to back Freddie Jacobson was in awesome form couple of years ago then his wife had a child and obviously napper duties got in the way cause his form badly dipped but he had a good finish last week and he will be a massive price. I bet him at 125s EW for the open few years back and he gave me a great run

Rose and Harrington top 5 and Sabbatini and Cink to win.  I'm actually on Toms as well but that's because I clicked the wrong button and didn't realise until the bet was placed!   He's right above Sabbatini :blonde:

Tiger Woods

All these reports that he wont be concentrating this week because he's about to become a dad - pppuuuuurrrrrrrlllllleeeeeeeessssssssssss. This will be the same Tiger Woods who turned up at Royal Liverpool in the British Open last year not long after his father died and won at a cantor, only Chris DiMarco giving him a run for his money.

Tiger bogeys the first hole, and Monty starts with a birdie only to make a double bogey 7 at the third.

What price Monty changing caddies after round one ?

Woods birdies second to go back to Even.

If Kirk Triplett gets anywhere near a place i'll throw myself under the next jungle express - backed him last week in a regular PGA tour event as it is around this time of year that he normally puts in a good tournament or two and he was 225/1. He promptly finished last and missed the cut by about 20 shots. He would have probably been about 750/1 for this - I notice he's just birdied his 5th hole to take a share of the lead :D

Flippin Hell, Tiger ain't half been going to the gym since the last time I watched him. He could almost pass for a rugby player now he's bulked up.

Bubba Watson seems to be on tilt!  Bit upset with a bad shot into the greenside rough, quicky addresses the ball and smacks it about 50 yards across the green!  He was only about 5 yards away to start with

TILT DONKMENTS

Tiger is really showing his class, he seems to be the only one that can keep himself composed too.

I have just had a small wager on Stuart Ames at 22/1 ew.

Interesting that Tiger has never come from behind on final day to win a championship.  I often pay great attention to these things when it comes to betting, but I'm not daft enough to lay the Tiger!

think Tiger has been on the old weights bench, or the anabolics. I hope its not too dodgy to admire another mans physique....

You're a rubbish tipster - that Oberholser is nowhere. :)

You seem to get some of the best golf and some of the worst golf towards the end of a major.  I'm reminded of Monty's efforts last year for the worst, and watching Cabrera today for some of the best.

Excellent stuff :)

Unfortunately the only one that I backed in the top 5 market was Badds @26 on BFair, although I did lay him @1.6 this morning to take a profit.

Laid off a little of Cabrera in running @ 7/2 but then toughed it out even when he went 1/4 for a very nice four figure profit  ;woohoo;

My four figure profits these days include the decimal points :D

Nice one Ralph ;applause;

isnt there some rules in golf about slow play ?

Tiger taking half an hour over the last hole was unacceptable IMHO. It wouldnt have been allowed if it was any other player. I am aware that there was no-one coming behind, but he was still giving himself an unfair advantage.

Cheers all, I've never had so many big prices in contention before.

I traded Cabrera @ 11 when he was leading after round two for about one third of the profit on him, but in doing so I maintained big positions on Baddeley, Fasth and Cabrera and felt that I would have to be very unlucky for them all to blow out.

After round three I laid Baddeley @ 4.4 for about one third of my profit on him, guaranteeing myself £500 whatever, but stuck with the other two. I really should have had something in the top 5 market on Fasth but can't really complain.

I did do some business on Cabrera @ 3.5 during the final round but toughed it out without succumbing to the odds-on thieves through the nervy last few holes for a tasty £3.3K profit. Not bad for a total investment of £100.

He ruled out people who played four rounds lastr week. He did pick Langer at 55's who came second though.
