Title: Help please Post by: KingPoker on June 12, 2007, 09:15:26 PM i was just wondering i have limewire and have downloaded some new songs but its too slow to leave open and just play them on there. Is there a good programme like itunes that acts like a jukebox/music library??
Cheers KP Title: Re: Help please Post by: bettyboop on June 12, 2007, 09:17:59 PM windows media player is plenty good enough.. locate where the files are downloaded to and then click and play. Winamp does this job adequately as well.
Title: Re: Help please Post by: Bongo on June 12, 2007, 10:18:09 PM I hate windows media player!
I use winamp to play all my music, but if you want a library as well then I recommend the lovely songbird (http://www.songbirdnest.com/) - it's also a handy tool to download music from the web too! Cheers bong, just been on website and how the hell do i download it, there seems to be 2 options i) Download Songbird 0.2.5 Developer preview ii) Download a nightly build which one? Title: Re: Help please Post by: Graham C on June 12, 2007, 10:38:18 PM Songbird from me too! Good advice that Bongo :)
THink you need the nightly build one Title: Re: Help please Post by: Graham C on June 12, 2007, 10:39:49 PM nightly build then scroll down the page for a version
Title: Re: Help please Post by: Bongo on June 12, 2007, 10:41:16 PM I'd grab the developer preview - the nightly build will be untested code and could crash.
Nothing wrong with the nightly build, just it could be unstable which might put you off using it (which would be a shame). edit: I've just grabbed the latest nightly ;) Title: Re: Help please Post by: KingPoker on June 13, 2007, 12:51:25 AM Cheers silo and bongo, downloaded songbird and making use of it while i type this, looks great
(does look very similar to itunes!) Title: Re: Help please Post by: Graham C on June 13, 2007, 01:26:42 AM Yeah it's pretty similar. I like the music blogs you can access though and you can find similar music, helps you get into some new stuff, it's pretty nifty.
