I'm not one for false modesty, I know it was an achievement - but that still couldn't stop the cold, dead empty feeling in the pit of my stomach when I got knocked out - as if my very soul had been torn out of me - but apart from that it's been non stop enjoyment. And I have at least got the satisfaction of knowing that I went out trying to win. My chip stack got decimated in two hands (not consecutive, but close to each other). I kept on betting into a wheel draw on one and a six draw on the other (the best and second best hands for those hazy on razz), unfortunately not only did I miss both by miles but I had an opponent who hit a medium hand on both. I could have just anted my way up to maybe 10th place (or higher if I picked up a few easy pots on the way) - but if I had hit the first of my mega pots for example I would have had a huge stack to play with and ..... well - who knows. Not much left for me to do now apart from chill, I must remember to bring my lucy Vegas hat to the next blonde Bash so hopefully it'll help me improve my result in that.
