Title: Re: Go Joe Post by: tikay on April 16, 2005, 12:59:13 PM WELL DONE JOE.
I am delighted for you, & it's a well deserved monster payday. Title: Re: Go Joe Post by: Card_Shark on April 16, 2005, 02:10:28 PM don't see any need for that at all, please keep your comments to yourself.
Title: Re: Go Joe Post by: I KNOW IT on April 16, 2005, 02:34:00 PM It was meant as a joke ,nothing more, lighten up.
We all know the chairs at the Bellagio are too heavy to pick up Title: Re: Go Joe Post by: tikay on April 16, 2005, 02:35:55 PM I have removed the grossly offensive post by "Grech the Letch", who is someone posing as Joe. blonde does not permit mischievious posters to pose as others & make offensive comments behnd the screen of anonymity.
Please ensure there are no further posts of this nature. If "Grech the Letch" persists, suitable steps will be taken to prevent further such behaviour. The blonde partners, & all the blondeites, are proud of our little Forum. It's a good place to exchange news, views, & banter, and we intend to keep it that way. I hope I speak for all blondeites in taking this action. Title: Re: Go Joe Post by: tikay on April 16, 2005, 02:38:49 PM To "I Know It". A misunderstanding has arisen here. Card Shark was NOT responding to YOU, but to a deeply offensive post made by someone posing as Joe Grech. I have just removed the post, hence the misunderstanding between you & Card Shark.
Title: Re: Go Joe Post by: I KNOW IT on April 16, 2005, 02:43:50 PM Thanks Tikay for that, you know its unlike me to offend anyone ;). Good luck in Luton main event if you are playing. Hope to see you at Walsall 100 freeze out if you are out.
Title: Re: Go Joe Post by: tikay on April 16, 2005, 02:47:41 PM Thanks Craig! It was an odd misunderstanding, you & Card Shark are respected blondeites, & I just needed you both to be aware of what had happened.
OK, off to Luton now! Let's hope I am not on Update Duty too early....... Title: Re: Go Joe Post by: henrik777 on April 19, 2005, 01:21:43 AM 5:15 pm PDT Live Updates
by Mike Paulle 5:15 Greg Raymer is the chip leader at the end of level 3 with 195k. Englishman Joe Grech is second with 175k. When you get used to the Blonde updates it's unreal that you can't get much on a major event like this !! >:( :( Sandy Title: Re: Go Joe Post by: tikay on April 19, 2005, 01:56:01 AM Thanks henrik.
It's entirely possible that you will be able to get a more varied selection of Live Updates from blonde at some stage in the future. There is no reason why major events anywhere in the world could not be covered. No reason? Well, one reason - money! It's an expensive exercise, & it's quite hard work, so eventually we are going to need some method of financing it. But if the demand is there, we ought to be able to find a way of doing it. But negotiations are in progress on several fronts, so watch this space! Title: Re: Go Joe Post by: I KNOW IT on April 19, 2005, 05:04:26 AM Big Paulie s blog on Pokerpages is giving live updates on Bellagio main event, not upto Blondepokers standards though ;). Hope you dont mind me posting that info Tikay, well you can always delete it if do. Thought El Blondie would have paid for you to go to keep us Blondites informed.
Have a word! Title: Re: Go Joe Post by: henrik777 on April 19, 2005, 12:35:47 PM Tikay,
I'd be surprised if somebody won't sponsor you guys for these as they are popular. I wasn't having a go at you guys though, more the fact that you get some smaller events with great coverage here yet the yanks who like to think they are the best at everything don't seem to have anything in the same league for the 2nd biggest event in the game today. Maybe bet365 can use the extra cash Dave turned down to fund you. :P Keep up the great reports from the events you do cover. Cheers Sandy Title: Re: Go Joe Post by: ifm on April 19, 2005, 02:47:59 PM The blog mentioned earlier kept describing Joe as the tightest player at the table!!!!
Ian Title: Re: Go Joe Post by: tikay on April 19, 2005, 03:06:27 PM Hush now ifm, we don't want the other guys to know Joe's little secret!
Joe Grech tight? Yeah, & tikay's loose...... |
