This is the question, you have won your way into the main event at the WSOP $10,000 buy in. You played a $2 super satellite on the internet and won your seat into the 2006 WSOP. 8773 players. Paying top 870. If you make it into the money you have just turned $2 into atleast $10,616
You are one off the money and it is hand for hand. You have an average stack and are dealt AA/ One player goes all in,the next player also goes all in. They both have more chips than you. Do you pass and cruise into the money or do you call?

I call, I'll treble up nearly 75% of the time... that's good enough for me.

I would call approximately 100% of the time.

Now if this was a satelite for a WSOP seat, then it would be entirely different. It would be a pass 100% without hesitation

otherwise given the circumstances (and if the 10k meant a lot to me) its a fold.

I would go into a Carlos dwell for 10 mins hoping that someone on another table got knocked out before lumping it allin.

Personally I think if someone is playing $2 sats because that is their bankroll level I think they should pass as when will they ever get another opportunity to incase their bankroll by such a large amount again. The big money is still a dream and your still in the comp so you can still climb the ladder.

Sigh....you've all got it wrong.

 I guess most of you would call. The point i was making was that most people that would play a $2 satellite mainly play very low stakes and to have atleast a $10,000+ payday would be huge.
 About 20% of the time your Aces are going to get cracked. Also in that situation i dont think you would triple up if you won. Its highly unlikely it would ever come up,but you have to think what cards the other two would have to both go all in with one to go before the money. Prob KK and AA,so at best your going to split the pot with the other AA and increase your chip stack by 50%. And with 800 players left your still along way from winning the tournament or even getting to the final table!

Depends how much that 10k would mean to u. I call but if the 10k means a massive increase to ur bankroll and helps u pay some debts of etc id pass.

whatever your bank roll is if you won $10,000 from a $2 investment you will get it in cash spunk a bit on the wheel some of bubbly and some on a tart.

You are left with whAt $6000 then you have to buy some presents for them back home, with the $ so weak against the £ the exchange rate will fleece you quicker than a mofo with what you have left you come back with £2500 - £3500

you have to call..if 2$ is your usual level you are (probably) only getting one shot at this for a while..you simply can not fold here. yes 10k is a lot of money, noone would even argue differently but you are playing the World series and if you have a shot at going a long way you have to take it when you have a monster hand like Aces here. I wouldn't forgive myself if I folded here and didn't go deeper..whereas if I was knocked out here I'd get over it.

If the money meant so much wouldn't you have taken the cash instead of the seat?
Call regardless of bankroll, it's a maths question nothing more.

Minimum pay out in this years WSOP main event will be $20k I believe.
This makes it a tougher question.
For a 10k bubble I would almost certainly push, for a 20k bubble I cant say I would deffo do the same. Prob fold if I thought the fold would deff get me in the money.
