All being well, we will be carrying a full Live Update from this weekend's big event at Walsall. I actually forgot to seek formal permission from Rank Group & Grosvenor Casinos until today, but fingers crossed, we will be fine.

Contrary to what I thought originally, Jen WILL be available now - whahoo! - so she will be Updater-In-Chief, & once I'm available, hopefully not TOO soon, I'll be her runner, & take a few pics. She will struggle early doors - TWO consecutive 6 hour comps on Saturday, in effect, followed by a 12 hour stint on Sunday is my bet. & with the field split into 2 halves on Saturday, I can certanily assist with all of one flight, & I'm sure the other blondeites will assist too.

Poker 425 wil be there on Sunday, & I believe another TV company is giving it the full works.

And I'm still up for meeting any blondeites who fancy a bite to eat at around 1pm on Saturday, at The Village Hotel. The Milky Bards are on tikay. If we need to be at Walsall earlier than 3pm for the draw, then we will have to move dinner forward accordingly. More news as it develops.

This is one of THE best weekends of the year in my opinion. If you cant be there, tune in to blonde, it's the next best thing.

On a positive note, Formal Pernmission for the Live Update has come throigh from Rank this morning, so we are all set now.

I need to be across at the Casino at 2pm latest, to establish the blonde "work-station" & help Jen set the scene in the Live Update. And I'm dreading the queue at Reception.......

Any idea what time the casino opens on Saturday ?

Shame you can't join us Ariston, we wll miss you. But I assume you'll be leading the Live Updatre Railbirds ftom home, being shy with your opinions, & supporting ALL the blondeites, with no particular favourites.....

I have a problem with your dog Heid. Everytime I see those doleful eyes staring at me I imagine it is reproaching me about something ("why didn't you shave this morning you untidy oaf?")...those eyes are hypnotic!!

Actually, what she is saying is, "I haven't had any liver for ages ou cow, go and cook me some!"

She doesn't care whether I shave or not, dogs are kind like that :)

She is an expert manipulator :) Like most girlies :)
