has anyone else noticed that posts by the younger, male members of blonde tend to be somewhat extreme? read any thread you like and the opinions of the young males will generally be black or white.

adjectives used will be, on the one hand, "genius" and "awesome", or on the other hand "****".

on laddies, if you read the words "muppet", "retard", "moron" or "c***" in the chat box. look at the player profile and it will more or less always say.. "male. aged 18/25"

is it that grey areas only appear with grey hair? (or peroxide in tikay's case). does oestrogen bring with it balance and perspective? should all young, male poker players be injected with female hormones thus calming them and at the same time, replacing their man breasts with the real thing?

i look forward to reading your extreme reactions to this post. no half measures now boys.... the peer group is watching.

it's simply a case that us 'oldies' are slower to react and either: a./ by the time we've thought what expletives to type in, we can't be arsed to actually type them, or: b./ by the time we go to type in said expletives, we've completely forgotten what we were going to say, or even what we were going to react to !

I'd like some testosterone injections (not a euphemism). Not sure what disease one needs to contract to be allowed them, but I read an interview with some women who took it therapeutically for something or other, and they generally reported that it made them feel like a god come down to earth and it was well worth growing a beard and their voices dropping a bit for.

I think its the naturally more competitive nature Norman.

the only thing worse than a woman attempting to play poker is a cheeky kid who thinks he knows it all. I have been playing some .5/1 this month as part of the mentoring scheme and there are more geniuses and experts at that level than I have ever come across. I have been told how to play by so many kids its frightening (usually just after they stacked off to me putting all their money in drawing dead yet it is me that is a moron/****/retard etc). At the higher levels the players are happy you got your money in bad and tend not to "tap the glass" if they think you are a fish. I dont think its just a testosterone thing I think its got a lot to do with people who have watched loads of poker on TV so think they are now the best player in the world as this is how they saw barry/phil/danielle play it. I have never been one of the "get it quietly" brigade as you know but at the lower levels I find it good to just keep saying ty whenever they are insulting me, if you follow this up with any of the following rubdowns they usually go on mega tilt ; I think I love you, xxx, can i have your address please so my bank manager can send you a christmas card, sorry i played the hand wrong- least I have your money to make up for my embarassment, please reload- i got bills to pay etc etc etc.

I negotiated a deal with the lovely Polish Room-Service Maid - pot of tea, no finger sarnies, £7.95, bargain. But a misunderstanding arose, & she left.

Then I managed to get my own tea-making tray, kettle, the lot, & a beautiful Phillipino girl bought that up. Another misunderstanding then arose, I mean, I just said "how much for the lot?", & she was gone, in a trice.
