Not sure if there has been such a thread so here goes..

Work commitments dictate that I can really only afford one live poker night per week, I have no particular preference but having played most venues, but by deafult would probably gravitate to Grosvenor Walsall.

However if pushed I would nominate the Thursday £30 + 1 Rebuy/Addon at Gala Birmingham as my favourite, heres why:

• Loads of Play - Getting 4000 + 4000 chips with 2 * 45min and then 20min levels is a joy
• Creative Play - Some of the most imaginative play I have ever seen (Jeff you know who you are), product of the structure IMO
• Banter - Savage at times but always good natured
• No Session fees !
• Regular Dealers Choice Cash game (1-2 PL) - If out early - again no session fees
• Attentive Valets
• Oh and Sandwiches
• Enthusiastic Card Room mgrs

Sure there are some things that could be improved: No dealers till final (although experienced locals do fantastic job), Size of room is always going to be an issue so 40 runners average. But hey the quality of the night overall makes it for me "The Best Regular Casino Live Comp in the Midlands"

What would you recommend and why?

Well it just has to be the Sunday £100+1 rebuy or add-on which is held at Nottingham Circus Casino at 4pm.

If "best" means best structure, best run and with house dealers supplied, imho.
