i went to the snowdome in tamworth last night on a hen night.it really was one of the best nights ive have in a long time.started off sledging which ive not done for years.the slope is alot bigger than you think its going to be.then we did something called tubing.you sit in a rubber tube and go zooming down a steep slope.the funniest thing was hearing my mum and aunties screaming.next was ice-skating..ive not skated for 10 years but took to it again straight away.my friend Nicola on the other hand was not so lucky.after one go round the rink,she tripped over another faller and went flying into the barrior,knocking herself out in the process.when she came to she couldnt move her arm.so,mini bus of us take her to hospital.she has fractured her arm in 3 places and is having it pinned today.
know im trying not to laugh even now,but im sure as soon as shes not in pain she will find it funny to.GET WELL SOON NICOLA.

yes as we were leaving some people were snowboarding.im definatly doing that next time.
since ive become single ive decided to get out and do new things.any suggestions about other fun things to will be taken seriously.

I read on the bbc weather site that you can write off the summer, the equinox has been and gone and the days are getting shorter and there are no high pressure fronts coming for the next month so if we see a few days in the mid 20s over the next couple of months we'll be lucky >:(

You could begin with snowboarding then try salsa classes? i have a friend who goes and she has a ball:) she says theres lots of people (even ratio of men and women) to dance with and its a real laugh. It keeps you fit, makes you laugh and you might even have fun? whatever you do GO GET THEM!!!!!!! :)up

Just back from the Milton Keynes Snow Dome as I took my nephew and a godson for more snowboarding lessons. Unfortunately the viewng area was being refurbished so me and my mate had to wait in the bar playing pool for two hours. Shame.  ;)

Any TV cameras?

No but my mate thought I was playing for imaginary cameras as i won three frames in a row by hitting the black in off at least two cushions. He thinks I am lucky, but it is all skill.  :D

You could hav had lessons too Ed

One day maybe, but it's like ice skating there are too many little kids zooming around that would make me look useless.  :D
