Sory I should have explained myself better this is exactly the sort of responses that post deserved. At the time of posting I was pretty dispondent

My point was, I am 2nd in chips sitting comfortable in the 100k, with only 9 left. I have had a pretty shite year and a healthy pay out here would have been just what the doctor ordered. (Payout was 25k, 15k, 10k, 7k, 5k etc) I was in SB and watching people fold, and hoping that the one player i didnt want to see in the hand would fold. Had i have been 5th in chips with 150k it would be a total no brainer, but because of my chip position if i had of passed i shouold have been able to secure a top 3 finish. I am WELL aware that proper strategy is to go for the win but i could have done with a big cash. Basically I am just gutted.

I genuinely had this horrible feeling about it, hence why i even took a minute of the clock. Are there any circumstances where you might not play a hand like this where your whole tournament is on the line to pick up a paltry cash when you could go on and make a big sum? Do you ever follow gut insiting when you have a great hand but jutst have a bad feeling about it?

I thought that this was the reason for your post.

But still i have to say you MUST make this call, if u win this pot, which you are always going to be a solid favourite to do so, it will be so much easier to lock up the real money.  The only time i would fold is on the bubble of a satelite seat where all prizes are on a flat structure.

I was half expecting to come home to some sarcastic messages wondering why the hell i had even posted this hand. I know it seems like a total no brainer call, and i cant even begin to explain the bad feeling i had about it. I have never taken a minute to decide on calling with kings in my life!!

There are so many things sick about this hand. If it had been any normal player he raises with his PP I re reiase, end of hand.

I know its obvious, but i am probably only just safe to come off suicide watch now.

$1750 was not much consolation.

SIGH!

cheers anyways
