Title: Old Kids TV programs?
Post by: OatFedGoat on July 02, 2007, 03:48:50 PM
As per the super duper Old Sweets thread one choice only. three choices by popular demand (ok-one person!)

By a country mile - Jamie And the Magic Torch
PROPER Grange Hill with Tucker, Gripper Stebson and Zammo
last choice is a difficult one but I think Chorlton and The Wheelies gets it

.... strolls off mumbling like an old man how they don't make 'em like they used to.

Muffin the mule was sheer class, well not quite sheer as Muffin was a puppet and you could see it's strings  ::)

I was rather fond of Sooty too who's catchphrase was "izzy wizzy let's get busy"

Ditto SuperTed and his pal spotty man.

Red Hand Gang was a fav of mine aswell but only have hazy memories of it but remember the tune well.

The adventure Game is one that very few people seem to be able to remember. BBC2 6 o'clock usually in the winter. It was like a celeb version of the crystal maze - top top program!

Nothing like seeing Maggie Philbin being vaporised by the vortex into outer space and have to walk home and being overtaken by a bus on the way home to earth!
