Title: My son thinks im Batman ! Post by: BigTomatoes on July 05, 2007, 10:12:28 AM i woke up this morning about 7.15 am , my girlfriend was getting up for work and i was going to get up with my wee boy Jennifer walked out the room , and before i could wipe the sleep from my eyes she flew back into the room screaming and slamming the door shut behind her. '' Gerry , theres a bat out there !! '' , ' a bat ??? how did that get in ? ' i thought to myself. anyway , i was thinking how to get rid of it ( trying to pretend i wasn't a bit scared of the thing as well ) should i kill it ? look for a big shoe ? , i decided to use two ends of an old shoebox to catch it by this time the bat was resting upside down on the curtains by the window. now i've never seen a bat upclose before , i didnt know how to react or how it would react. i had visions of it seeing me and flying straight for me with its fangs ready. anyway , with my hood tied round my face ( just in case ) i managed to get it into the box. Jennifer , my son and I went out to the garden and let the bat out the box and it flew up and away. '' well done daddy " my son said. " thats ok son , just call me batman " i joked. he spent the rest of the morning running around singing " nana, nana, nana, nana.- nana, nana, nana, nana BATMAN !! " and hes now off to nursery to tell all his friends his Dad's Batman - rotflmfao ps . Me and Jennifer are expecting another little beauty in our lives sometime just after the new year . ;karabiner; Title: Re: My son thinks im Batman !
