The reason Rod had to change for the better was down to expert baiting by my good self, I posted in the glasgow poker thread promising not to start making any predictions on the forthcoming Internationall footy matches... Rod walked straight into the trap by making a statement, and the trap was sprung with an immediate forfeit being proposed should Rod's prediction not happen... Ahhhhhhh   the sweet taste of revenge :)

Sorry to say it but Scotlands goalkeeper (Craig Gordon of Hearts) would walk into the current England side... perhaps as a second to a fit Chris Kirkland. He's the only player mind, but just thought I would correct your wrong assumptions that all scottish keepers are blind numpties.

I accept the "Exception to every rule" argument mikky ... after all someone DID mention David james :)

Is there a good english keeper? Kirkland is too injury prone, and I can't think of any other contenders....

Ron Springett used to be pretty handy, but I'm not sure if he's still playing.
