Managed to win £80 anyway. And had a great day out. Missed race one, and had 5 of 6 winners in the rest of the day. One of the girls we were with put £2 on Countdown paid for it, looked at the ticket and it said £32 stake on Countdown, which of course won and she walked away with £208 from a £2 bet on an 7/1 shot or whatever. Ran super hot, nailing 4 out of 4 winners including 15-1 shot Charlie Tokyo (on the tote) in the big race. Then nailed a 70-1 exacta in the 5th (2nd was 30-1). 2nd best day ever when actually going to the races and had a good night out in York afterwards :).
