we have all been there- had a bad run and ready to quit the game because we are sick of the beats then this happens. Sure Kal will tell us afterwards but maybe it was one race he won early on or one flush draw he hit but all of a sudden you forget the bad run and get back in the zone.

It still ranks as the funniest thing I have ever seen in a casino...


Picture the scene, about 20 of us in the bar area at Blackpool casino, the bevvy is flowing ... Kev O'connell is there and Chubbs is on the champers..... its a proper sesh !!

Skalie comes to join us and pulls up a chair, unbeknown to him, the chair belongs to a lady that was not with us, but had just gone to the bar to get her and her old man a drink... In comedy timing that even you would have been proud of Norm, he moves the chair just as she is approaching from his blind side to sit down armed with her 2 drinks .... well she goes to sit in her now non existent chair, and as you can imagine, she hits the deck in a moment of pure comedy, as the contents of her glasses fly up in the air (ice as well) ... and she is left sat on the floor absolutely drenched holding 2 empty glasses. As Skalie was apologising profusely, the other 20 of us were in uncontrollable fits of laughter ... laughing so much it actually hurt !!

We offered the casino good money for the CCTV footage, it would have been golden, but we never got it.


So GOOD LUCK SKALIE .... but be wary of the next Blackpool festival  ;)
