Title: Missed telly opportunity Post by: Indestructable on July 16, 2007, 06:03:29 PM It's my birthday coming up and had a family get together yesterday at a local park.
One of my nephews brought his bike and a ramp and he was showing me a few tricks. Now when i was 30 odd years younger I was a bit of a whizz on the old Tomahawk and decided to show him my skills. Passing on to the new generation and all that. Anyway, I borrowed his bike and cycled off and made a turn ready for a fast jump. I did ask him to lie on the other side of the ramp, for an Evil Knievel style jump, but he declined. So i am up to 30 mph (maybe exagerating here) and I hit the ramp, and lifted the handle bars and flew through the air. I landed on the front wheel and went over the top. Nice somersault until I landed on my head. I scraped my forehead, banged my knee, my elbow and I can hardly move my back (booked in the physio tomorrow). I also smashed up my £299 shades, sorry £2.99 shades. I brushed off the turf off my head and acted as if nothing had happened even though I was half crippled, only to get told off for not letting everyone know I was doing this. As this cost them £250 for the clip that would have gone on You've been framed! ;noflopshomer; Title: Re: Missed telly opportunity Post by: TightEnd on July 16, 2007, 06:09:21 PM phew, for a moment I thought he had negative from news from Eggheads
