Title: September Casino Guidelines Query Post by: Nick Peters on July 20, 2007, 01:42:40 PM Has anyone got a definitive understanding on what is happening in the casino world (UK) from september 2007?
I understand the following: Tips are allowable for all gaming staff. (taxable) Self style licences replace the existing gaming licence, allowing freelance croupiers into any casino at any time. Croupiers will be allowed to play in other uk casino's without a risk to their licence. Fraternisation with customers is allowable outside the casino hours of work. Have I missed anything? Guideline 3 the thorn in their side will be no longer. This means the casino can advertise their card-rooms (and other wares), with a variety of special events, even 24/7 if they want to. They can make up different events without the gaming board shadowing their every move. The gambling commission are a different animal. In many cases, most casinos' will be card-rooms with the option to play roulette or blackjack if you like! Most card-rooms will need to link together to offer and gain a wider range of audience. |
