One of my favourite poker experiences was travelling down to cardiff on the sunday for the final table of the GUKPT.

Great evening, well run, nice vairety of finalists eg. romanello/greco/smith/o connell and got to sit next to the 2 blusq dolly birds for most of it.

Just need to get into one of them now!

Butters is giving it the full hollywood every bloody hand, every one is getting the hump and Rick told him that he is losing the will to live and is gonna start putting him on the clock... this was after Maz had made Butters pass with a min river bet on the end .... And then started laughing and calling for Butters to get a part on eastenders, saying he acts better than anyone on there !!


Everytime Butters gives it the 5 minute dwell i just think that he is eating into my bevvy time and they are 5 minutes of my life that i aint ever getting back !!

Watching this in the press room and its boring as fuck. Jonathan Butters dwells for about 10 miuntes over EVERY bloody decision, as does Christine. Absolutely mind-numbingly soul destroying. When will claimer finally take the bulls by the horns. the stuff about the clock was Maz saying Jonathan should audition for eastenders because of all the drama he is creating. Rick got involved in a bit of banter with JB and called the clock on him and rightly so.

No deals were done, just had a beer and a smoke outside with Rick, and he is understandably gutted, but thanks everyone for the texts and messages of support on here, im sure in the cold light of day the result will look better in a few days time and he will look back on this trip with a great deal of satisfaction.

just got back now, thanks very much for all the support, kev kept on letting me know of it and it spured me on greatly. The only hand i saw was QQ all final which i took the blinds with. The hand witht he 68, the guy makes it 37k i make it 137k to go and he tanks his last 139k in so it was 39k more to call, and my 68 missed, these moves however were my only plays throughout the final. The only mistqake i may have made was on my exit hand.
Maz makes it 91k to go @ 15k/30 im on sb with KdQd and as per my final table game make it 291k to go and he pushes, i had (i think 280k-300k back and i had his range as 99-AA + AK and made the call, praying for TT or JJ, i was really happy with the way i played. I Played out and out for the win, while most of the table were playing to ladder. Look forward to watching it on the box ;-). thanks again for all your support guys, its been brill, just sorry i couldnt have scooped the JP but it just wasnt my day. Thanks again

I dealt the final table. That Butters geezer is the most annoying player on the planet.

When Rick put him all in, he looked at me, took the shades off and said "Well son, there comes a time in your life where you just have to gamble"

I nearly threw up. I looked at Dena, rolled my eyes, and it was all caught on camera.

I also got a few stern looks from The Big Cheese for sitting in on the final and cheering for Maz. Bugger it, i'm leaving anyway.

The man was crap, for 90% of the time the man was drinking at the bar watching the tv just getting hands of "the tower" for the other 190 % of the time he was upseting the massage girls, eating or picking on woodley.

The last bit is the only constructive thing the man done all week.

Please TK don't let the man to anymore events unless he is babysat by snoopy or Jen.

never had so much fun on a table when myself, simon zach and woodley were in full flow, as well as kev from the rail, they were all giving pete singleton some freindly stick, which he took very well, i feel it always takes 2 or 3 characters on a table to get the craic going, and that table was very good.

Phatomch, I have had emails and letters from at least 142 people thanking me for livening up their weekend, I have also been  hired by Woodley to be his PA, as my drink minding skills are legendary as is my ability to tilt his oppos up on the cash tables.

Despite your damning criticism of my performance, i have nothing but praise for yours .... the way you destroyed the contents of the buffets in the manner of a herd of wlidebeast in full stampede was impressive to say the least.

I had a great few days in Newcastle, and whether you like it or not, IM COMING TO LUTON !!
