Drogba is 29 now, he'll be 39 in 10 years! But yeh about honours even at the moment. Rooney will have been playing in part of a world class team for 15 years by end of his career, where Drogba has only been in a world class team for the last 2 years. Think about this (as an aside ,but relevant to the discussion): Tevez is a better player than Drogba (IMHO) - but I can guarantee that most manure fans would have preferred to sign Drogba than Tevez - Tevez is a very similar player to Rooney (both ugly too), and Drogba would add more to the manure side than Tevez does (if you see what I mean).
