so A3457 would be 75431 and would beat A2348 which is 84321 but would be beaten by A2457 which is 75421 Title: Re: quick omaha hi lo explanation needed Post by: BigTomatoes on July 27, 2007, 01:16:54 AM so A 3 5 6 7 is 76531 and 2 3 4 6 7 is 76432 so the lo is worked out from 8 downwards and not Ace upwards , this is what confused me because the A2345 is the nut low i figured if i had an Ace in m low hand then it would be better than a 7 lo with no Ace. couldnt figure it out , and won this tourney before omg. ah well , i lost that hand , i lost a pot when we went all in with the same hand ( 2 pair he hit a straight ) not my night i guess. thanks for the explanation iron. |
