Looking to buy a digital camera but dont really know what im looking for or whats good etc. Been looking around on dabs and few other sites. Please give me some ideas of good cameras in the £150 range or what i should look out for. In many light conditions the screen is difficult to see properly and not having a view finder is very annoying!

It's the US version (SD800) but the same camera. £170ish for the camera, memory card, spare battery and some other bits. Would be a bit worried about it being the US version etc but he does have a whopping 294,000 feedback!

Title: Re: Digital Camera Post by: RichEO on July 27, 2007, 06:54:56 PM Fuji finepix f10 previously, very happy with it until i dropped it and the lens jammed. Has an awesome battery life. Only downside is not so many advanced options, great as a simple point and shoot.
Now got a Fuji finepix f31fd, fd stands for face detection, optomises the focus on faces. Both only had screens not viewfinders, which is better as the viewfinders on a lot of digicams aren't accurate to frame the pictures how I want then (sometimes). Also had a fuji finepix z2, sleeker and smaller but not as good image quality - avoid! Had good service from cameras2u. They have good prices on cameras, but not so great prices on memory cards. Just incase, avoid purely gadgets, they messed me about big time, and I've only read bad feedback about them, also, all the camera are imports. |
