With the exchange rate so low though, I would have bought a load of stuff in america. Are you planning on going back anytime soon? Advice given to me was to open a US bank account, if I went out a lot ( I don't thoguh!) not sure how easy it is to do though, but probably easy enough with $15k to open you account with. Best rates in town. Title: Re: currency exchange Post by: keiron9000 on July 30, 2007, 05:35:46 PM I did buy a load of stuff there and i did open a bank account,but now my bank balance here is low.The commision isn't the problem,it's finding a decent buy back rate for $ into pound.I think alot of those online sites are for currency exchange via bank transfers,but i have $15k in cash.
