Title: Funny Situation Post by: ACE2M on October 17, 2005, 01:19:28 PM this was on the 10k on hills the other night.
I am on the button with with 820 chips and the blinds at 75/150. utg and two others limp, i like the value and limp with K9s. Sb folds and big stack in the bb makes it 800 to play, three limpers call (all have reasonable stacks). A few mates are there watching me play and i tell them i am going all in which they just can't understand as i clearly can't scare anyone with my 20 chip raise, two of the limpers also type in 'lol'. As expected from my point of view the bb goes all in and the limpers are forced to fold leaving me heads up in a pot worth around 5000 in which i have only put in 820. Chances are slim against his KK but i make the straight to the 9 and he doesn't have the required suited card to match the 4 hearts on the board and i am firmly back in business. One of the lol boys says 'ahh. wp'. Not a great tale but it was nice to have a 20 chip raise into a 4000 pot have such a positive result. I finished in 14 in the end. Does it not allow this on other sites?
