Title: Footie bet for the weekend Post by: Jedwick on August 08, 2007, 12:35:58 PM Just been looking at the prices for the first weekend of footie, in the past i've been going a bit mad and put on too big acca's, i'm gonna try and just pick three selections and have a cheeky 25quid on it, first week
Sunderland - Tottenham Spurs win at 13/10 looks too good Middlesborough - Blackburn Blackburn to win at a huge 7/4 Derby - Portsmouth Pompey to win at 13/10 (biggest worry here but i still think its good value) it pays 363quid so fingers crossed to a good start to the season! Title: Re: Footie bet for the weekend Post by: scotty2hatty on August 08, 2007, 12:40:41 PM I had a quick look at a coupon earlier and noticed the prices for Blackburn and Portsmouth. Both of which appealed to me.
I also like Hamilton for the weekend. Title: Re: Footie bet for the weekend Post by: Jedwick on August 08, 2007, 12:48:51 PM is he racing this weekend? I havent seen any prices

Title: Re: Footie bet for the weekend Post by: matt674 on August 08, 2007, 03:11:17 PM will probably buy fridays racing post where it will give me odds of all weekends games - i'll then probably pick 7 teams and perm them in £1 4-folds, 5-folds, 6-folds and an accumulator then decide which bookie will give me best odds.
It will give me something to do when Matt's Monkeys are taking the lunch interval of our battrick game :) Title: Re: Footie bet for the weekend Post by: scotty2hatty on August 08, 2007, 04:13:22 PM is he racing this weekend? I havent seen any prices Couldn't decide if this was a joke so I'll respond. I meant Hamilton Academical. They are away to Clyde. I meant Hamilton Academical. They are away to Clyde. They'd better watch Clyde - he has a good left turn. oh..Celtic is looking big odds at 8-15 today aswell. Now I'll go back to crying over Alex leaving PSV to join Chelsea :( Title: Re: Footie bet for the weekend Post by: Jim-D on August 11, 2007, 11:23:52 AM I wouldn't back Man City against the hammers, City are just pap!

Brilliant one week and shite the next Home to Gretna is the sort of banker home win that usually ends up with them dropping points over the last 2 or 3 seasons Title: Re: Footie bet for the weekend Post by: johnbhoy76 on August 11, 2007, 03:23:02 PM 1-0 to Gretna 20 mins gone.

I headed out about 4 yesterday and just noticed on the teletext this morning Hibs came back to win 4-2!! yeah the substitution made all the difference..then again they had plenty of chances in the first half according to reports..they just squandered them all. |
