:hello: all and welcome to Luton. With Jen playing the girly girl event this week and Snoopy busy, we welcome a brand new updater to the fold, this picture should give a clue as to who it is...

Roland De Wolfe is kicking off for not being allowed to buy-in at the last minute meanwhile Jeff Buffenbarger made it to his seat as his cards were dealt. Quickest. Man Ever.

Incidentally, there's a little group of Scandies here led by Torstein Iversen and Jan Sjavik, which should add to the mix. I'm off to get some more pictures.

Hi and welcome from Luton...

Looking forward to today's action, doing the updates means having to fill rather large shoes (Not only do the updaters all do a cracking job  - Jen has suprisingly large feet).

Already bumped into an upbeat, if rather hungover Flushy and Rick "Actionman" Trigg lurking in the lobby of the Day's Inn, replete with humourous stories from last night, some of which I'll share during any quiet periods.

Rolf Slotboom made an appearance, looking tanned and fresh, in contrast to the somewhat pasty, hungover Flushy and Rick. I can only assume he had a quieter night than those two....

Naturally Kev was soon along, looking even thinner than the last time I saw him. He's wasting away the poor lad! RookieITB is here, and although I just spoke to him briefly, he's got a glint in his eye that either means business, or the sun was getting in his face and he was squinting. Ever the optimist, I'm going for the former. Good luck Rookie.

Anyway, we've been ushered by a jolly Jon Raab into the pressroom, via a series of doors, codes, passes and various security measures. I was hearing the mission impossible theme tune in my head, and as we approached the press room door, I was sure we were going to have to drop down through a hole in the floor and dangle down from the ceiling, hanging from a single steel thread, dodging infra-red beams to enter a password into a security console, but it turned out we just had to turn the handle. Oh well.......

I don't want to use my position as updater here as a forum to abuse Flushy but inevitably he brings these situations on himself sometimes. He has made the decision to appear at today's event dressed in a cream suit, matching jacket and trousers. Opinions are torn as to whether he looks more like the man from Del Monte, or a Ukranian arms dealer. Photos of him and the rest to follow and you can make up your own minds....

We're soon to join the throng and the action will be beginning shortly so good luck all the players!

Some very interesting tables dotted about, blondites Rookie and Alex Martin have been paired together, there's a table with Ram (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=359) Vaswani (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=359), Dave (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=92) Clarke (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=92), Steve Vadar and Raj Modah, the Ladbrokes Million winner which should be entertaining...

...As I wondered through the tables , more concerned with seeing who might be paired up than expecting masses of action on level 1, Flushy's dulcid tones were heard as he told me to report Rick was about to fold his big blind to his 200 raise from early position. It had been flat called by mateyboy, (I'll be using that a lot till i get round people's names).

As Flushy mocked Rick, daring him to squeeze, Rick did indeed reraise. I missed the exact amount but it looked like it was to about 700-900 or so.

Flushy laughed and passed as did the cold caller.

More wandering round the tables, checking the match ups,The Camel and Joe (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=205) Grech (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=205) sharing the felt and a table with Julian (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=225) Thew (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=225), Paul (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=328) King (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=328) and Willie (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=450) Tann (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=450) looked interesting.

More noise from Flushy's table.

What's the mentalist up to now? But he is not involved this time. Rick has raised to 125 on the button called by sb and BB.

The flop of Two Diamonds was checked to Rick who bets 225, which the SB duly calls and the BB duly raises to 925. Rick is having none of this and reraises to 2925.

The BB thinks for a short while and announces ALLIN, pushing his chips over the line.

You can hear Rick's breath rushing out of him and he groans audibly. He's got a hand but is it good enough?

After huffing and puffing for a minute or so, Rick decides to fold, claiming but not showing a set of deuces (  I forget his online name again.....)

....a big pot lost and a big hit to actionman's stack there, but one from which he can recover.

As I walked away from the table to write this hand up, Barry (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=42) Neville (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=42) wandered past and after being introduced exclaimed loudly in his burly yorkshire brogue "Ohhh so yer the big poof that shares flooshy's bed" and throws me a wink. I guess so ! Well it's hard to disagree with a 20 stone yorkshireman. Not till I've had at least 5 pints anyway........

Chris Bruce just related an odd story to me. Mateyboy limps UTG for 50, Ram made it 250, and UTG made it 500, Ram called.

Flop:

Ks Js 2h

MB bets 400, Ram called.

Turn:

6c

Check check.

River:

5s

MB bets 1200, Ram calls. Mateyboy shows Tens and says, "You must be winning." Ram mucks. ???

Good news everyone. The tagging system has now been implemented, basically anytime anyone's name is typed out, it's automatically linked to the blondepedia where you can see bios and photos of said person.

Pippa Flanders was involved in a pot as I moved to her table.

I missed the preflop action but there had been a button riase from mateyboy.

Pippa led on a Ks 7d 5h flop for 600 or so.

With just 2600 back mateyboy huffed and puffed before moving in for his last 2000 chips. Pippa eventually calls with AQ and mateyboy's As7s is ahead.

The Jh and 2d change nothing and her stack takes a dent...

James dempsey is seen betting 1k on a KQ549 board after betting 600 on the turn and being called. His opponent Ronnie Debeaulox, who knows Flushy well from Brighton, sweats making the call on the river.

"What are you thinking about Ronnie?" asks Flushy.

"It's a high flop, there's no way you have any of that?"

"What about these 2 they're not high?" says Flushy pointing at the 5 and the 4.

Ronnie calls and Flushy shows 45 for 2 pair which is good. Comedy...... He told me the decks been smacking him but he lost a big coup with A9 v A5 on a A5295 deal so is only on 12k.

Barry Neville is up to 18k after playing aces cutely, and getting away from from AQ on a Q high flop when a 3rd diamond hit....canny lad.

******Dinner Break for 1 hour******

We believe Torstein Iversen is the early chip leader with 26k having eliminated a short-stacked Martyn Cavanagh with Aces against Tens, Mick McCloskey is close behind with 23k having scooped pots with A-Q vs A-J and A-9 vs 7-5 on a 9-6-3 board, eliminated an opponent in the process. Flushy has about 15k, whilst Dan Carter is on around 16.5k having raised preflop to 300, bet 300 on the Ad Jh 2h board, raised to 1200 by his opponent before he made it 3,200 to take it down.

Karl Mahrenholz isn't having as much fun, he had A-Q vs 4-4 on a Q-4-Q flop and then flopped a Ten high flush against a higher flush. Could be one of those day where you just want to kick the cat... Oh, sorry Rod.

Finally Barry Neville is singing loudly after raising a bet of 600 on a Qs 8d 7d Th to 4,500 before showing a cheeky Ad 8h bluff.

As the dinner break has arrived, casualties are few and far between - 3 so far by all accounts.

The players are tucking into the buffet as we speak. To fill the time before the poker re-commences, one of the stories from last night....

....After returning from the casino late on Rick, James and a few others bowled into the hotel bar for a drink or two. They had an idea that the barman wasn't the sharpest idea in the drawer after getting  a few drink orders wrong. Rick said, "I'll get some orange juice - at least he can't mess that up" .....

...."Can i take you order sir?"
...."Yeah fresh orange please...."

The barman disappeared before returning with a single fresh orange on a plate!

One of the welsh contigent in the hotel piped in with "Lucky you didn't order a bacon sandwich - he'd have come in with a pig on a piece of string!"

We await the restart of the poker with baited breath...

Just had a word with rookie and with alex martin who are sharing a table.

How's it going Alex?

"Pretty *poorly* (word may have been replaced for the purposes of good taste). All the other boys are getting all the cards"

As he had a neatly interwoven stack of chips i asked him for a chip count.

"Oh about 13k i reckon" he said, with a sly glance at the table and whistling innocently. A laugh or two was heard from several members of the table before he reconsidered.

"well maybe around 9k then, guess i miscounted" was the mischeivous reply.

Rookie wasn't looking like a picture of confidence.

"How's it going Rooks?"

"Ha not so great!" he said jovially. We struck a deal that the next time I returned he would have 25k though so things should improve when i next visit him.

So much to say, first Pete (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=348) Linton (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=348) went out after check/raising Willie (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=450) Tann (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=450) all-in on a bluff on a x-T-T-4-4 board, shame Willie was holding a Ten. He departed soon after.

Julian is a little short after raising a late position raise to 2,000 from 850, he passed sharpish to the all-in and was shown Kings.

Karl and Praz have finally been separated when their table was broken...they were then both moved to same table again.

News for Jan Sjavik fans now:

First he bets 5.5k on a 8c Qs 3d 7h Qd board, his opponent dwells, perhaps a little too long, but calls with Ad Qh which is good. This left him short and he got the rest of his chips in with Th 8d on the Ts 7h 3d board and got called.

"Nines?" said Jan, perhaps a little hopefully, "You have Nines?" His opponent shows Aspades Tc

Turn:

Td

River:

8h

Karl (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=227) Mahrenholz (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=227) has also been a river rat. He spiked a Nine with 9-9 vs K-K to double up.

Blinds went up to 100 200 a short while ago.

Marc (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=257) Goodwin (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=257) is found contemplating a call on a A 3 4 9 flop from his opponent who is studying him carefully.  Eventually he folds.....

Carlo (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=60) Citrone (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=60) is sitting on a nice pile of chips. (My chip counting abilities clearly need some practise!) He makes it 500 from early position, and is raised to 1200. He shortly reraises another 4-5k and his opponent lays down his hand. Carlo pretends to have forgotten what he had, then checks his cards, giggles as if he has found something amusing and scurries off to have a chat with Marc (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=257) Goodwin (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=257).

Keith (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=229) Hawkins (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=229) makes the strange decision to call a bet on a Q T 7 flop based on the outcome of a coin flip. Heads I fold, tails I call....

The tails promptly arrived and his call with 89 against his opponent's KQ  proved futile as top pair held....

Flushy has been busy, up to 25k. "I've been getting hands but not showing, the whole table thing I'm a thieving git" As flushy is passed the button for the next flop, he threatens to raise if it's passed to him. Bad girl says she'll be limp reraising him. As it turns out neither of them get to dance and you can almost feel their disappointment as a quiet guy in early position raises before everyone passes. He flashes an ace.....

Meanwhile a guy on flushy's table having suffered several bad beats in a short space of time was left with 1200 chips but rather than fight on with 6 big blinds, he simply upped sticks and left. Rumours that he left as flushy kept playing footsy with him under the table have proved unfounded.....

Rookie grabbed me as I wandered by. "I'm half way there!" he says, referring to the bargain we struck earlier where he said he would be on 25k the next time i saw him. "I was down to 3k but won a pot then had AA v AKs to double me up!"

Alex Martin's chips appear to have dwindled and as he overhears rookie's story he says "yeh you got a bloody gift there." He's laughing and joking with the table but I think Alex will be making a move very soon as he swiftly enters "get chips or get drunk" mode.

In answer to the Rick question, sadly I think he is out. He had a pretty torrid set of cards, constantly having the 2nd best hand. I'll confirm his exit when i catch up with him.

As I passed Julian Thew 's table, he had donned his earphones but on seeing me he lifted what appeared to be a rather skinny stack into the air and crossed his fingers on both hands. When I got a chance to talk with him, he told me things weren't going well. I told him, don't worry no doubt you'll be up to 80k by the next level. With most players that would be an idle gee-up just to give them a boost, but with yo-yo, well you never know!

Rooky was looking a bit happier with a stack of 15k. "Moving the right way" he said with the smile that's been on his face all night.

Alex was away, but noflops managed to snap him so a picture will be added to this post shortly...

Flushy has lost a big pot with 2 pair vs a set. He raised from the cutoff to 900 with A6 and the button "who has played back at me a couple of times" flat called. The flop came TJ6...check....check.

The turn was an A, flushy bet out with his 2 pair and was raised an amount that he felt he couldn't pass only to find his nemesis with TT for a set.

"It was a lesson in why not to raise with A6" said flushy sagely, before raising with A7 shortly afterwards.

Bad girl is getting busier, after 2 limpers, including Flushy, on what is now 150 300, she makes it 1300 on the button, punishing the limpers, who all choose to fold. Flushy looks in admiration before folding his cards. He knows a good limper's tax sheriff when he sees one.

Steve Vladar has doubled up with 6c 6s against 4s 4d on a 9d 5h 8h Kd 7s board. He'd previously had a hard time, having a set run into a rivered straight amongst other stuff.

Jeff Buffenbarger is on life support after having his Aces cracked by Nines all-in preflop.

Julian Thew has bitten the dust sadly.

He got his chips in preflop with KK, finding a caller with KQ.

The flop came K high, but with a J. The turn A and river T sealed his fate is cruel fashion, but although i missed his exit you can be 99.9% certain that Julian took his horrible beat in his stride , with a handshake for the lucky winner and a "good luck to all" departing message.

As the blinds have increased, so has the level of chip violence accordingly.....

James Dempsey, Dan Carter, Barry Neville have all had their stacks reduced to rubble and have been busted.

Flushy was unfortunate to run his K9 straight into a Q9 nut straight against the same man who had taken 10k off him earlier.

Barry was upset with himself at his exit. "Ah pleyed the hand diabolical, an ah mean diabolical" he told me. "I knew ee 'ad a set, 'ee put is chips in the sehm wey earlier when ee 'ad it" - his A8 proving no match for 99 on an A K 9 flop.

Dan Carter's exit was for an enormous stack. He called a raise from david martin with 78 and when the flop came 789, David bet 3000.

Dan raised to 6500, before David made it 13000.

"I knew he was overplaying his overpair" he said as he reraised allin and was called by T T. A J on the turn sealed the straight and sent an enormous 70ks worth of chips to his opponent and crashed the high flying dan out of the tournament.

Willie Tann's stack is steadily growing and although appearing lethargic whenever I visit, he is clearly not hanging around. I was told he had straight against straight before a lovely heart on the river gave him a straight flush to augment his stack. I stayed to watch another blockbuster Willie Tann hand but he clearly likes to do his chip gathering business when i am elsewhere as my patience was scantly rewarded with the sight of him just gently munching on a small biscuit. I think it was a hobnob, but this may be misreported. If it was a bourbon, don't go for my throat.

Floppy has a nice picture of him modelling some mirrored shades which the table all agreed were cool.

Sorry the above does not relate to Julian's exit. I have been misinformed. I am off to hunt down those responsible and have them shot. Unless it was my fault in which case I will reward the perpetrators with a cigarette.

Ram Vaswani is also out, he missed a gutshot straight-flush draw then according to Chris Bruce began to push with high regularity before he had some rags called by K-Q and failed to hit.

Jeff Rogers has also gone, he held 4h 4d on a Ahrt 4s Ks board in an unraised pot, Burnley John had limped with Ad Ac though and took the whole stack, elevating himself to the heady heights of 40k.

Ian Woodley doubled up a shorty with Kc Jc againsty Ahrt Ts,

Board:

3h Ac Qd Jh 3c

"Keep going!!" Shouted Woodley. "I'll hit my flush soon!"

Karl Mahrenholz is OUT, I saw him squeeze the Kc Th and then call a Marc Goodwin small blind raise from the big blind. The flop was Td 4s 7d, Marc made a pretty big overbet and Karl pushed and Marc immediately called with Aspades Ahrt, the blank turn and river sending the birthday boy home.

Joe Grech just doubled up with Ace King against The Camel's pocket Eights, spiking the turn. Joe then knocked out the short-stacked Jeff Buffenbarger with Qc 2c against 9c 7c, hitting his lady.

Steve Vladar is out now too. How do I know this? Well, him sitting in the cash game is probably a good enough reason for me. Michael Muldoon and his easily spottable red t-shirt are also seemingly MIA.

Ben Turnstill aka "RookieITB" has knocked out fellow blonde Alex Martin. Ben raised A-Q preflop and Alex pushed with calls, Ben was debating the call until Alex said, "You've taken this long, now I know I'm ahead," which made Ben think he was in a race. He duly called and then rivered the Queen.

Jan Sjavik bet 2k on a Qs 7s 2s and was called, they both checked the Ts turn, before his opponent bet 2k on the 7d river. Jan, shaking his head, in a "I know I'm beat but I can't fold for this little because I want to see what crappy filth you sucked out on me, you fishy bugger," kind of way. At least that's what it looked like to me.

His opponent showed Aspades 4s and Jan flashed Ac Ahrt still shaking his head.

Chris Bruce has 30k, buoyed by raising with Aces and having a short-stack push with Kings behind him.

Apologies for the lack of updates from my end, blonde has been running a little slowly for me, although the tables have not been filled with action.

79 players remain, the average is a shade under 20,000 and the blinds 200 400.

Plenty of play in theory although players definitely seem to be in "consolidation" mode at the moment, with many pots uncontested preflop, either being passed round or a single raise taking it down.

Pots of note include Ian Woodley raising to 1200 from early position, announcing "I'm not passing." A re-raise from Burnley John Falconer (sorry couldnt see how much but a decent amount) made a liar of him as he passed after a bit of banter with John , showing pocket 77. John showed KK. Poker players don't alf tell some porkies sometimes...

Also Roberto was seen punching the air as he hit a T on the river to win a pot with his AT, announcing well that call ad valyoooo you knoooo. I assume he was behind although his opponent's cards were mucked by the time i arrived....

Comical moments in the cardroom include Barry Neville being video interviewed for one of the online sites, and having a lollipop accurately thrown at his head by a brave bystander during the interview....

....Flushy loudly requesting someone to stake him in the cash "crash" game he is currently involved in with Paul Jackson. For the first time all evening perhaps, a deathly hush befell the cardroom......

....Roberto told his table a joke which I would like to repeat although it is almost certainly non - blonde compliant. I will say it involves a bald man, his doctor, a supermarket, an unusual cure for baldness and a lady. You'll have to fill in the msising pieces yourself

Roberto Romanello is OUT.

After good showings in previous GUKPTs he has been eliminated in 75th (or thereabouts) place out of today's competitors, in a 99 v TT coup. The exact details of the hand are not available to me just yet but I'll try to garner more useful information when I'm in the cardroom....

Mick McCluskey is out....Tony Ringe's AT holding versus Mick's KQ, I'm guessing as it went in preflop there was some sort of  buttonage/blindage action, but again I'll see I can flesh out this skeletal description with the skin, tissue and vital organs of the hand, when I get down to the cardroom.

Blinds are 300/600/75

Ronnie Debeaulox just shoved with 7d 4d when ubershort, called by Td 8h, he was rewarded with a 7c 7s 4s flop to double him up.

Xuyen Vladar just bet 4k on the river of a 7c Aspades 6s 5c 8d board and was called, she showed Kc 9c to take down a 20k pot.

Jan Sjavik is out, pushed on a Ad 5h 4d board, his opponent eventually made a very good call with 6c 6s, as he was ahead of Jan's 3c 3h, who failed to hit set or gutshot.

Warren Wooldrige raises in EP to 2.2k, Ian Woodley calls.

Flop:

Ad Qc 5h

Woolridge checks, Woodley bets 3.1k, Woolridge calls.

Turn:

Ac

Both players check.

River:

3d

Now Woolridge bets 5.5k and Woodley mucks.

An interesting and unfortunate hand developed between Brian (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=489) Johnson (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=489) and mateyboy. Involved in a pot to the river, mateyboy bet the river and instead of calling, Brian (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=489) Johnson (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=489) turned his pocket kings face up without pushing his chips over the line.

Ruling his cards were mucked.

Brian (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=489) Johnson (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=489) shook his head sadly at his error of protocol. He wanted to call, he meant to call but he did it wrong and the rules are the rules so he was left nursing a microstack, shaking his head and sitting gloomily with an almost visible cloud of despair hanging over his head. No surprise when 5 -10 minutes later he busted out...

*********BREAK IN PROGRESS**************

                 57 players remain

David Lloyd ends up all in a classic standard Queens vs Ace King encounter.

David's running commentary for the cards came as follows:

"Queen first card please..."

9h

"Queen please."

Jc

"That's good, keep it coming."

2s

"Brick it out..."

8s

"That's good, last card slowly please..."

6s

Entertaining double-up to say the least.

Marc Goodwin, Ryan Fronda and Glenn Ashworth are all OUT and playing cash together.

Keith Hawkins told me of a good call he made.

He'd limped with 3c 3s on the button after a few other limpers, the 9-9-2 with two diamonds flop was checked to him and he bet, everyone folded to the last limper who c/raised his 1.2k bet to 4k. The turn was an offsuit 6, the limper checked again, this time check/calling Keith's 4k bet. The river was the Jh, now the limper bet 8.5k and Keith called with his threes, ahead of the busted flush draw of the Kd 8d.

Keith (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=229) Hawkins (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=229) is OUT, his Ahrt 7h failing to hit on the the Q-T-5 two hearts board against Joe (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=205) Grech (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=205)'s Q-T which housed up on the river.

Chris (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=65) Bruce (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=65) has just added to his stack which looks to be around 50k, he just knocked out the superbly named Robert Stain with Aspades Ks vs 5s 5c on a Qd 4c Ad 9c 9s board.

Dave Clark c/raised all-in on the turn of a 2h Qh Kc Js board taking it down.

Ian (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=176) Woodley (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=176) has pushed on a 8d Qd 8s for 12,950 to take a pot down against the small blind, his opponent dwelt and Woodley said, "Slow playing your Aces son? Unlucky." After a muck from other player, Woodley showed Jd Td.

Raj modah has just been eliminated in the last hand of the night pushing K8 off suit on the button with his 7k stack into pocket tens in the big blind.

Rookie has nursed his stack earlier back up to the 30k mark, as per our deal earlier. Well done Rookie.

He just won a nice pot off Willie Tann. Limping from the sb, Willie raised another 2.5k which after some chip fiddling, rookie called. The AQ7 flop was chekced by rookie and willie tann fired another 3.3k at the pot.

Rookie made the call. The turn brought a king which both players checked at. A low river was also checked by both players and Rookie showed down his A4 which was good enough to take down the 14k pot.

That's it folks. There's no fat ladies but Barry Neville might be just about to break into song. A great day's poker concluded. Bring on day two.....
