Title: disconnections with Vista Post by: kingkev on August 18, 2007, 03:38:17 PM After buying a new Dell laptop with windows Vista i keep on getting disconnected from Pokersites (FT / Party / Ladbrokes) after either a few hands or 1/2 hours.
What happens is the software freezes and if i click on the lobby a window pops up displaying: close program or wait for response. 've tried changing / switching off firewalls and secuirity settings, not running PO to and various internet connections to no avail , can anybody help me please? Not sure this will make a difference but try right click on the icon and choose run as administrator - worth a go

In my opinion Vista needs a mininmum of 2gig to run well, It uses around 1gig just to run itself so if this is all you have once you fire up your poker you have limited resources already.
