Title: I need a new Poker home!
Post by: AllInKev on August 18, 2007, 07:35:05 PM
Basically, i gave up with Laddies. People know whats happening, what with the dull and boring schedule and then taking the forum away and taking the spirit and the "community" out of the site. I have tried a few but none have really caught my eye. I love Poker Stars and i think the big fields are great when i have half the day to waste. I love building up a good early stack, playing my good hands over aggressively and normally getting paid by those lovely yanks but its no good if you have 4 hours to play about with. Betfair is pretty damn dead, DtD like so and probably has too many tournies on the list.

Bet365 used to be my home but when i was 18, i had built up a nice roll but donked it away and that taught me alot of things which have gone onto help me. Do i want to go back?! Im not overly sure at the moment. To be honest, i have kinda gone off online poker but Westcliff Casino is shut until October time and Southend casino doesn't get as many runners as there and the structure's early on are rather quick and if ya short after an hour, you can be pretty screwed and can be pretty expensive.

Back to online, where do people suggest i can play?! Perhaps somewhere similar to Ladbrokes ( e.g amount of runners ). Any help would be superb!

Thanks

Kev

blonde needs to sort out who it moves!   Just been moved from the small blind to the big blind of the new table, then after my sb, moved to UTG on another!  6 blinds in 7 hands at 1000/2000! The to rub it in, suffered two bad beats in a row and i'm out :tikay:

It's a good site though, honest

Yep that is one downside to the site.  I was shortstacked in a speed tourney once and got moved from bb to bb - not pleased!

For some reason, i never had actually downloaded Blonde Poker but had just used it as a forum. Looking at it now, the schedule looks good and there looks like there is some great variety and decent guarantee's on some of the comps. Hopefully i will bump into a few of you over the next month or 2!
