Post by: Sark79 on August 20, 2007, 12:31:35 PM Do you have to be fit to play baseball and Cricket? I know someone who has competed at both ( club level ) over the years and he claims that fitness plays a big part of both games .
Title: Re: Does anyone know...... Post by: matt674 on August 20, 2007, 12:59:46 PM not quite free but as good as........
i pay a subscription to mlb.tv premium - at the moment it is $49.95 for 12 months. So for about £25 i can watch any game from any team live with no blackout restrictions - all streamed at 700k which means the picture quality is about as good as you'll get on your normal tv. When i have my monitor linked up to my laptop i'll have the poker tables going on the monitor and whatever game takes my fancy on full screen on the laptop :)up Title: Re: Does anyone know...... Post by: matt674 on August 20, 2007, 01:18:49 PM actually looking at the site it appears as though if you pay for it today you will only get the 2007 season and you will have to renew your subscription next year for 2008 - as there are only about 40 games left in the regular season you will only get to choose to watch any of the remaining 600 live regular season matches for your £25 :D
Title: Re: Does anyone know...... Post by: KingPoker on August 20, 2007, 01:23:14 PM Thx matt, trouble is i dont really wanna pay for a service that only does baseball.
Im a bigger American footy fan so does that site cater exclusively for baseball or does it cover "football" aswell? Title: Re: Does anyone know...... Post by: matt674 on August 20, 2007, 01:28:28 PM nope unfortunately just baseball
But for £25 for rest of season (i believe it was £35 at start of season) i think being able to watch any game live is better value than the £10 a month for setanta sport where they will only show the occasional live game. And it is much better value than the £35-£40 a month for sky sports where you get the football coverage. Title: Re: Does anyone know......
