Cont bet almost every time, nearer 12-15k tho tbh.

Agreed,

The trouble is your continuation bet looks too much like a continuation bet.

Was the player a tight player or a loose one?

I dont know about whether the cbet was big enough or not, but telling the entire table you cbet is deffo not good m8.

I just had AK on almost exactly the same flop. Two suits, etc, Q high. After reading this post just seconds before, I made it just under a pot sized bet. Villain came over the top of me.

I swear I made more money when I was tight passive :)

As long as you make the same sized bet when you hit I like it.

As long as you make the same sized bet when you hit I like it.

theoretically you wanna bluff as small as poss to get them to fold and value bet as much as poss to get them to call. if you play villain day in day out then randomising 10% bet small with monster 10% bet big with air is prob enough to make you hard to read. if you have never seen villain before then do what's most +EV.

I quite like the c-bet assuming villan has not seen us much before, I think alot of people are overrating how much attention to bet sizing an average opponent in $11 donkament takes. I suspect we would have got the same response if we had bet more and have just lost more chips. I agree with Byron just vary your c-bet once in a while and this will be enough to throw good opponent off the scent. Some opponents i play against have 1000 of hands against me and im damn sure they are not picking off my c-bets though i do tend to bet less if im c-betting as a bluff.

Oh and never tell the table you have ak there, its awful for your post flop image.
