Title: Luton wi-fi Post by: technolog on August 23, 2007, 08:25:52 PM I'm off to APAT at Luton tomorrow. Does anyone know if the Days Inn has wireless internet access and if so how much does it cost? How about the casino? Any help gratefully received.

Ran everything perfectly...maybe you had a dodgy room? Title: Re: Luton wi-fi Post by: RichEO on August 24, 2007, 06:25:54 PM If you take your own network cable can you get it for free? Or do they have to activate your MAC address (I severly doubt it). Take your own cable, I bet it will work.
Thistle hotel says it has wi-fi so I'm taking the laptop. Title: Re: Luton wi-fi Post by: KarmaDope on August 24, 2007, 06:46:08 PM If you take your own network cable can you get it for free? When loading up IE, it goes straight to a default page where you have to put the code in thgat you get from reception. Have only used the older cards you stick in the PCMCIA slots - and they were ropey at times. I guess the technology has moved on.

Title: Re: Luton wi-fi Post by: RichEO on August 25, 2007, 03:38:10 AM In the thistle hotel on wi fi, is a BT open zone connection, £27 for a 5 day voucher. Bit pricey, but I need the internet and not as much as some places.
