Oblivion is the reason I haven't played any internet poker for two months. Title: Re: Bioshock Post by: NoflopsHomer on August 24, 2007, 01:03:58 PM Might pop down and get this today. What Multi player like? Don't know, you need a a pretty powerful computer to run it though. If anyone remembers System Shock 2, in a sense, this is almost a modern updating of that game, which was one of the most atmospheric and brilliant FPS/RPG's of it's time with a great story with a twist half-way through, (I can only remember Knights of the Old Republic having a similarly good twist). System Shock 2 was the game that Deus Ex took most of it's initial ideas from, whereas all the shocks and scares that you get from FEAR, Half-Life 2 and THAT level from Thief were all influenced by SS2 and it's design. Title: Re: Bioshock Post by: Acidmouse on August 24, 2007, 01:59:36 PM U playing on PC? uggg.. Xbox360/ps3 i was assuming. I always found PC sluggish on games like that.
Oblivion was awsome, played it for like 4 weeks solid completed nearly every quest and sub-guilds. Title: Re: Bioshock Post by: NoflopsHomer on August 24, 2007, 02:11:49 PM U playing on PC? uggg.. Xbox360/ps3 i was assuming. I always found PC sluggish on games like that. FPS were not designed for consoles. I bet you even use auto-aiming... :D Title: Re: Bioshock Post by: Acidmouse on August 24, 2007, 02:15:13 PM Sadly I can't auto shot like I can in wow :P on my pc....
Title: Re: Bioshock Post by: lucky_scrote on August 25, 2007, 02:29:22 AM I havnt tried bioshock yet.
PC games will be sluggish if you have a crappy comp. I must say though, oblivion is incredibly demanding on the pc. Title: Re: Bioshock Post by: bhoywonder on August 25, 2007, 08:51:11 PM I almost bought this today

Oh. My. God. It looks more gorgeous than Scarlett Johansson with a pint of Guinness. Title: Re: Bioshock Post by: mex on August 29, 2007, 08:26:25 PM FPS are great on the 360, nothing like lining up a a head shot and squeezing a trigger, clicking a mouse is just not the same, and i never use auto aim.

Just got Bioshock today, looks amazing but I'm such a big girl when it comes to scary games. It took me a week to walk down a path at the start of Silent Hill 2 cos I kept cacking it and putting Pro Evo back on, in my defense it was a very, very scary path.
