Title: OT Afternoon tea in London
Post by: barhell on August 24, 2007, 10:47:08 PM
Hi all i'm looking for somewhere to take my Mum (birthday soon) for afternoon tea in London, i've obviously googled and come up with the likes of Claridges, the Ritz, Dorchester, Harrods, Browns etc  but which ones are good, bad or great any feedback appreciated, especially if you've been recently.

P.S. Although i don't post much now i'm still here lurking and reading (still the most entertaining forum) but on a sabbatical from poker participation.

P.P.S. Well done Colchester "PIEMAN" "Salad" Kev

If you do the Ritz then try and get the last sitting (if they still do those) - means you wont be rushed and if you sit long enough you get to start the cocktail hour too.  Have to book early.

Claridges used to be the business, I'm sure it's still great.

I seem to remember they had a young lady playing a harp in a corner of the room.

Don't worry, where you're going it won't be a problem.
