The 7-2 was given a few outings, including one time the holder had to fold having already invested a huge amount, just to try to win $500 from each of the other 7 players. A compelling watch.
Title: Re: the deuce-seven prop bet.... Post by: Horneris on August 30, 2007, 03:26:48 AM The Deuce Seven prop is comedy, cant wait to introduce it at our next deepstack cash home game.
Encourages so much extra gambling and comedy. Title: Re: the deuce-seven prop bet.... Post by: OatFedGoat on August 30, 2007, 07:54:35 AM A great show that episode. They never knew whether people had aces or were just playing 7-2! I think one of the newcomers to the table invested around $50k into a pot with it.

Title: Re: the deuce-seven prop bet.... Post by: TheChipPrince on August 30, 2007, 10:33:34 AM should be fun for a while, but imagine after a few episodes it will become tiresome, Texas Ego rather than Texas Hold-em... Mines bigger than yours blah blah blah... Title: Re: the deuce-seven prop bet.... Post by: BigTomatoes on August 30, 2007, 10:37:31 AM the new guy put $117,000 into the pot with 7 2 , turns out the other guy had Kings with a good flop to go with it. how do you think he felt the next day when he woke up and realised he threw $117,000 away with 7 2 ? i tried it in a tourne last night , raised 7 2 off on the button , good flop of 2 3 5 rainbow. oppo checks and i set him in , obviously he has to call with the A 10 to hit a straight does'nt he. ;grr; Title: Re: the deuce-seven prop bet.... Post by: LeKnave on August 30, 2007, 11:11:59 AM The best part is Mikes reaction when Phil asks him for the $500 for the 72 bet.
