Title: Re: Treat them well they will love you for ever.......... Post by: Sark79 on September 05, 2007, 11:26:14 AM n1, that is a good gift. I am sure she will like it. Practical gifts are always the best ones, but then again I am a guy so I probably think differently about this.

Mind you, I wouldn't mind one of them turning up on my doorstep now. My washing machine is on the blink and I have a trip to the launderette to look forward too :( Title: Re: Treat them well they will love you for ever.......... Post by: mex on September 05, 2007, 11:29:26 AM Its a miele top of the range, so she can't moan not as if you went for a cheapo
Title: Re: Treat them well they will love you for ever.......... Post by: Sark79 on September 05, 2007, 11:33:48 AM My washing machine door falls off if I open it too far. It is always nerve racking when I am putting clothes in/getting them out. If I get it right there is no trouble, if I open it too far there is a 25 minutes repair job on the cards. It would cost me £92 to get it fixed, so I just put up with it

Post by: kinboshi on September 05, 2007, 05:12:39 PM Arguably the best on the market. One of the only washing machines that doesn't have a concrete block at the bottom to keep it in place during the spin cycle. Very solidly built and you can sit a cup of tea on top during the fast spin and it won't spill. Therefore useless for any extra-curricular activities, but good for washing your clothes whilst not shaking the house apart.

To be honest I subscribed to "Which" and this was rated top of the list. I thought, do I buy entry level quality or top of the range junk. We had our Hotpoint Whirlpool thing for 4 years and last week when it went to spin it tripped the master fuse in the house. I tend to change White Goods etc when they break i've found in the past you spend £50-£100 to get it fixed and then somthing else breaks on it. You end up throwing good money after bad.
