Title: Home game advice? Post by: bhoywonder on September 06, 2007, 05:54:40 PM a few years ago me and a few mates set up a home game
to which i had great success employing a TAG approach, most players were loosish and calling stations now that they have got into poker in a big way they have all turned into mad LAGS and will bluff at anybody at anytime needless to say my results have dropped off of late So how would u approach a mixed table ,with few fish left and mostly full of LAGS...? 10% to the best advisor for this weekend's game if i scoop it...hehe Title: Re: Home game advice? Post by: fearisthekey on September 07, 2007, 06:30:22 PM playing against a mainly LAG group best to turn into a rock then when they have you pegged as a rock you can open up I think this relies on them going 'wait, maybe I should be more cautious here since this guy is a bit tighter', which I think I have seen very little of. If anything they see tight as scared or weak (which it sometimes is), and will bully you more than anyone else. People like to call, and fall in love with hands. Best, in my opinion, to come across as one massive LAG like the rest of them, the LAGs love trying to outplay their fellow LAGs. But you have switched back to TAG, and they don't know it.
