Call and lose you've still got plenty of chips left...call and win and you should get a seat. Call every time unless you know villain doesn't bet anything other than a set here.

I'm leaning more towards a call, but fold is acceptable... I think you have to give him credit for a big hand here, and to be honest I think he has exactly the same as you, AK...

I dont think he pushes with a set here.  I certainly dont anyway, i'm more likely to try and jam on a non club turn.

I think he probably has a club draw.

uhm. actually alot of people will push sets here. and expect to be called by AK or AA and love it. plus you can afford a pass. if you call and lose which i think is more likely than people are letting on. then you're average thrown into the mix. it's a sat. play it safe ffs.

Yeah after the hand i thought why on earth did i actually call.  Theres no need to risk the chips there when i can fold and be CL by miles any way.

LeKnave: calls 63653
*** TURN *** [Kc 6d 8c] [2c]
*** RIVER *** [Kc 6d 8c 2c] [9c]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
Jacquotte: shows [Ks 9s] (two pair, Kings and Nines)
LeKnave: shows [Kd Ad] (a pair of Kings)
Jacquotte collected 151506 from pot
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot 151506 | Rake 0
Board [Kc 6d 8c 2c 9c]
Seat 2: drackar (big blind) folded before Flop
Seat 3: a lert folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 4: Jacquotte showed [Ks 9s] and won (151506) with two pair, Kings and Nines
Seat 5: LeKnave showed [Kd Ad] and lost with a pair of Kings
Seat 6: frenchfish94 (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 8: Missdr-Ed (small blind) folded before Flop

It may have been a 'good' call, as i had him crushed.  But i dont think it actually was a very good call.  Truth is, i didnt even think about the situation after the flop, i just snap called it.

In the end i lost the pot, and missed a seat anyway.  But won 2 seats for the event so nvm.

It's a good enough spot to call..you just got unlucky here. it would have sown your seat up if your AK had held up.

12 left i'm more inclined to pass. I don't think you can pass up this opportunity when you are so far out still.
