The bb5 quiz, on the Sunday at 1pm, has a lot to live up to.

Not the bb3 "quiz" though, a quite shocking example of quizmanship question-setting by a Scotsman with a fetish for 1980s childrens cartoons and who forget to send in the mutiple choice answers

the bb4 quiz was excellent until Sheriff let rip with a gambling odds round so obscure that it crushed my chances of winning. That and Claw co-opting half of the Western world onto her team

bb2 quiz...in a football club I seem to remember. All 3 of us

For bb5 there is a new quizmaster...Egghead, one hit wonder, nice missus though. Hopefully she will attend and help offset the inevitable agony of his questions

ok the wording might not be 100% acurate but it was along them lines

Does anyone have a link to last years questions and answers? I had a look at the bb3 quiz answers, and I don't reckon I'd have got more than 3 or 4 right (out of 30!)!!

If there's any team that's 1 short I'd gladly sign up, do a pub quiz every week and we normally do reasonable with easily the smallest team in the pub (numbers wise lol).

None ya goose...gone too old for them.  BUT, my daughter is well on her way to making the next generation team.  She already plays on the under 16 team for one of the Cork selectors...and she's only just turned 12.  The kid is 12 going on 21...God help us!

The boys could also take a leaf out of the girls book on county pride. They don't get endorsments, they don't get expenses or even meals after all their dedication, true amateurs, fair play to them.........

Aye, a top quiz... Bloody hard, but great fun. Congrats to David Young who practically single-handedly answered all our team's questions! Never seen anyone with a general knowledge like that. Amazing stuff!
